They tricked us again !!!! Before the election the board of commissioners decided against raising the millage and only increased the fire tax millage. After the election, only one day and a few hours past poll closing time they changed their minds and decided to add an increase in millage to the budget as well. A double whammy!!! Pass one new law that requires 50% of the old laws to be eliminated. From that day forward, if a new law is passed, an old one has to be eliminated. Then we would have laws that really matter instead of revenue enhancement laws that are draining the citizens left and right.

Why hasn't Bill sold his mansion and land instead of transfering it into the Laura Carruth Residence Trust for his vacation home. He says he lives somewhere else, so sell this property and pay the taxes that you owe. Why doesn't everybody just sign up for the 100% tax. Give it all to the government and then let them dole back whatever they think we deserve to have. With that system, everyone could be given the same amount and we would all be equal. I'm sure the government would give back a fair amount for each family to live on because they know best what everyone needs.
