I didnt even force the situation with my 2 year old son, I started at 1 year old putting him on the potty at night when we took a bath, and I would just ask him here and there and didnt really make a big deal about it. He was 2 and december and today is the 2 week mark for being completely potty trained, he just woke up one day and refused diapers or pull ups, he just started going on his own. I would leave it up to him to decide when he is ready. Good Luck.

Oh N, I am sory that you have so many issues with your inlaws, as you know I have ALWAYS got along with my inlaws, and my MIL, I love her dearly, we are best friends. We lived with my precious in laws for several years when it came time fir us to move out us and them were depressed I cried slot I called my mil so much , eventually it got better. And it will with you, your feeling empty nest syndrome and it is normal!! Hugs Hun, take care call and talk to them often!!
