  1. FOX5 has updated the report to include rain/ice/snow as far south as Canton, they're still expecting us just to get a cold rain.
  2. I've wondered since the money deal with Iran and all of the release of Iranian prisoners and swaps.......... what about ex-FBI agent Robert Levinson? Just forgotten? His life doesn't matter? Ex-FBI agent's family 'outraged' he wasn't in Iran deal . AFP By Olivia Hampton 10 hours ago Washington (AFP) - "Crushed and outraged" relatives of an American missing in Iran for nine years expressed deep frustration that he was not included in a prisoner exchange over the weekend. "Why did Iran prisoner swap not include my father?" asked Sarah Moriarty, daughter of ex-FBI agent
  3. I saw that on FB. The victim was shot in the head. the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab was able to confirm that the victim was Malcolm Ali Webb (B/M, 36 YOA). Mr. Webb, who was a resident of Hiram, Georgia, died as a result of a single gunshot wound to the head.
  4. I never heard of it. I wish we had some place really good to eat.
  5. Be sure to bundle up in the morning, we're expecting some sort of frozen parcipitation. I've done my share of getting up with the kids, grandkids to watch the skies for planets, meteroids, etc etc I've even sit in the back of a truck in the middle of nowhere on a mountain to watch with plenty of hot chocolate and hot coffee and snacks. Good times, but not now. My old bones can't stand the cold.
  6. I read about that last night. That's why you have to be so careful with all these meds that the doctors and drug companies push, sometimes the side effects are worse than the disease. I couldn't imagine having RA and I'm glad that I don't, but a lot of the drugs will kill you. I have an older friend that's been thinking about asking her doctor for one of those new cure drugs for arthritis, and I've tried explaining the side effects and given her some things to read, so maybe she will change her mind. That's why there's a lot of warnings about Motrin now. It thins your guts and can c
  7. Very cool! Sadly, I don't do mornings anymore............

  9. I really hope Pat's makes it. I would be scared to move over there just because of the past and the ju ju. I mean, even out back at the lower level, it is spooky.
  10. I think the place is haunted. Nothing ever seems to make it there. It's a cool place so hopefully it will work this time. I think they should have made it a bar with a place for a band and a dance floor.
  11. I'm glad we went to see them years ago when they were in Atlanta. Loved so many of their songs, but I think "Hell Freezes Over" is the best album. And I swear, there's been so many celebrities pass since the first of the year. Most in their 60's, and I'm 65 http://www.tmz.com/
  12. FOX5 Just reported that TMZ reporting Glenn Frey has died. Glenn Frey, a founding member and guitarist of the Eagles, has died, according to TMZ. According to TMZ, Frey had been battling intestinal issues for months and had surgery in November. TMZ is told over the last few days, Frey’s condition took a turn for the worse. 13. In 1968 when I was a senior I carried a .38 to school.
  14. It's MLK day, a day that causes me to pause and remember him for his courage and the sacrifices he made. He gave his life and I do believe he was predestined to die to bring about the freedom he did for the black folks, and untimately for everyone of color. I'm thankful for the civil rights movement. I'm 65 years old and I was a little girl in a very discriminatory Alabama. I remember going to town and seeing the signs: "White Water Fountain" "Colored Waiting Room in The Back" for the hospital, and for the bathrooms, "Whites Only". Restaurants were for "White Only" I remember the
  15. Just remember, it includes your beloved democrats as well as republicans. Crime does pay well in politics.
  16. Congratulations Eddie! Gladys is a sweetie pie for sure. Had my first husband not passed away, we would have been married 40 years.
  17. Doesn't sound like a home invasion. Sounds more like pay back. Whatever the case, it's horrible what was done.
  18. I didn't realize how trashy that house was because I'm always looking at the house with the trash where the stagnant pond is.
  19. I just found it on 11 Alive.
  20. I just saw it on FB. When we first drove by, I casually said I wonder if they're looking for a dead body. Sad.
  21. Well, I want to know what happened on Hiram Sudie. Guess I have to wait for the news......
  22. As we see going to Walmart, we saw two cars. They were on the porch looking in the windows with a flash light. We met more sheriffs cars headed that way. As we came back there were probably 8 cars there, the side of the yard was taped off and they were leading an older white headed man out in handcuffs. Who know? Drugs or guns or both.
  23. I just don't get it. $18,000,000,000 would help our a lot of veterans in our country. Why do we continute to give money to countries that would love to see our demise? What purpose does it serve to give Pakistan money? 15, 2016 The Pakistani Dystopia By Dexter Filkins Since 9/11, according to congressional reports, U.S. taxpayers have given Pakistan at least eighteen billion dollars, much of it to the military. Last year alone, the U.S. gave Pakistan $1.5 billion dollars. Isn’t it about time we asked ourselves whether this is a good idea? http://www.newyorker.com/ne
