I have so many summer songs I remember. One I remember vividly is the summer of 1963 at the pool in Powder Springs. I had my first RED two piece swim suit and we had a juke box. We played Little Stevie Wonder's Fingertips, Parts I & II over and over and over. Then there was Martha Reeves with "Dancing in the Streets" and "Heat Wave" and as I got older (16 LOL) there was "Summer in the City". Of course the Beach Boys WERE summer songs. I would love to have some, but I don't want to pay $4.00 for that small package at Walmart where half of the them will be bad and they came from who knows where, who knows when. I saw Soapmom's picture on FB, they have a ton of them, and they are making jelly and wine. My granddaddy used to make muscadine wine. Ymmmmmm.
