You can be apathetic all you want, most of the country is. They're more worried about what's on TV tonight than the economy or the possibility of more boots on the ground. I choose to be pro-active, I always have been. I send my e-mails and do what I can to voice my opinion. It may not make a difference, but who's to say if just half of the country bombarded our elected officials and started voting them out, they might take notice.

Fortunately our ducks (Mallards) have finally found a place to keep their eggs and babies safe. A couple of months ago the mama brought out her half grown babies, ten of them. Last week we saw another mama with her 4. I know that's not many but she made it and they made it. A couple of years ago down at our dock we had a clutch of 14 eggs under a huge ornamental grass, hidden very well, but something found them and destroyed all of them. Now they stay down at the end around the bend, so I'm glad they found some place safe. Your mama is in great location and she can keep them safe

I'm working on Senators today, I did congress a couple of days ago, about 30 congress folks and Pelosi, The President, Bohner, McCain and a couple of others. .That's how strong I feel about this situation. Today I hit Barbara Boxer, Diane Finestein and several others, including a lot of Republicans.

I have a small one I use just for scrambled eggs and they never stick. I don't scrub them, never use a metal scrubber. A little dish soap, wash, rinse and dry on the stove top. My large ones are the same.

I always do Pubby, will you have a booth? You didn't last year but I remember the times you did and I would sit and talk with Johnny. Miss you JJ.

That's what I was thinking. I'm bringing my 4YO and 3 YO grandbabies. Starting all over again. I remember when mine were just little and we went every year, and then the now 17YO. I love going.

My granny was the same way LOL. I watched my mama wash hers and then dry it on the stove top which like you, I do the same except I don't put any oil in it. Heck mine are 40 years old and I've never had a problem.

Seriously, I wash my with dish soap and water. I've even soaked mine And then I dry it real good. And they're fine. Now I got a heavy cast iron grille for the stove top that I grill chicken on and it HAS to soak and then I have to scrub the grooves. Good luck
