  1. I was wondering about that. I was going up there tthis week just to see, so you answered my question. We went to Tallapoosa yesterday and they have one of the best Veterans Memorial park that I've seen. It was very nice. How can you have a Veterans park and no flag?????
  2. Didn't this happen out at the airport event? Not enough food or drink? I don't understand any of this. Uptown Dallas would be great for events but it's like the folks that run it and live there, want it to fail. In fact, I think Uptown would be great for a street party with some music or a band, you know, like Powder Springs does.............but it ain't gonna happen.
  3. I read about this on FB. You ain't been in jail 'til you been in Fulton County. Maybe some brothers will get a hold of his candy ass. And he got warrents in Cobb, Douglas and Dekalb. Maybe he won't be getting out for a long time.
  4. Not mine. I'm still concerned about the Ebola outbreak, Iraq, the Ukraine and Russia flying it's jets closer and closer to our Alaskan border.
  5. And don't forget.......... Shepard Smith made as ass of himself with his statements. Some people really need to learn when to report the news and keep their thoughts to themselves. Fox News host Shepard Smith on Tuesday asserted that actor Robin Williams was “such a coward” for allegedly committing suicide. At the conclusion of a touching special report that aired just hours after Williams died, Smith seemed to become almost angry while thinking about the actor’s children. The Fox News host noted that Williams had once told a story about his daughter, Zelda, who asked him to
  6. It was something she chose to do to steady herself due to her being nervous and shaking during her first movie. See above From WIKI During screen tests for To Have and Have Not (1944), Bacall was nervous. To minimize her quivering, she pressed her chin against her chest and to face the camera, tilted her eyes upward.[23] This effect became known as "The Look", Bacall's trademark.[24]
  7. I was reading today that she was so nervous when shooting began, she pressed her chin down on her chest to keep from shaking. Perhaps Hawkes picked up on this "look" and directed her to do so. She was a nice Jewish girl brought up right by mother in two rooms on the wrong side of the tracks in Manhattan, her father long fled from their lives. She was so nervous in her first film role, at all of 19 years old, that her head shook; so she tilted her chin down to steady herself, and had to look up from under at the camera. She stood at the bedroom door of "a hotel in Martinique in the French
  8. My God, she had such good hair and eyebrows........and those eyes and lips. And this is true beauty...............taken in 2010 at age 85
  9. My thought on suicide......... I could not begin to imagine the depth of the dark hopelessness someone must be going through to actually take their life. As far as God is concerned, I think he takes mercy on these desperately sick souls.
  10. Too bad we can't just nuke 'em.
  11. It shouldn't be too hard to find him...........he's probably methed up all the time. They'll find him geeking somewhere.
  12. What is the "Food Truck Festival".........I looked at the flyer. Food on trucks? Who? TIA!
  13. I'm just impressed it's Bill Carruth Parkway from the start to finish................unlike Hwy 278 which has a new name every couple of blocks of the way. And I wondered why he wasn't in jail.
  14. Rush is an arrogant, pompas ass with a personality disorder. I can't stand him. What he said is just ignorant.
  15. The thing about these Hollywood beauties.............they were indeed beautiful! With simple makeup and no photoshop. What you saw was the real thing. No fake boobs or butts. And they were classy.
  16. You know what they say, it comes in three's.............wonder who will be next.
  17. The sultry and sexy actress was electric in the 1940s films “To Have and Have Not” and “Key Largo” opposite her husband, Humphrey Bogart By Mike Barnes and Duane Byrge Lauren Bacall, the willowy actress whose husky voice, sultry beauty and all-too-short May-December romance with Humphrey Bogart made her an everlasting icon of Hollywood, has died, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. She was 89. Bacall died Tuesday morning of a stroke in her longtime home in the Dakota, the famous Upper West Side building that overlooks Central Park in Manhattan, a family member told TMZ, which
  18. Does it really matter which Race Trac it was? I'll just be glad when somebody beats the shiit out of this little shiit.
