Homeless folks in Dallas - Merchants Drive area

That's the way I always looked at it when I worked in Midtown. Lots of homeless folks. I would give them a dollar and a cigarette. What they do with it is on them. It they need a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 to get thru the day it's alright by me. -
It was a pellet gun. How were the police supposed to know? Try to stop him as he's running out of the back of the threatre? Say wait a minute, hold up, let me see what kind of gun you have? It may not be a real gun, we need to check. Really? I don't think so. One less threat to society. And I don't think they over reacted considering all of the shootings and murders in the last month. Several theatre shootings. And he did injure someone with the axe, but that's ok?

I don't give a damn what kind of gun he had. He had a gun. He injured someone with an axe, and his intent was to injure and kill if he got lucky. He should have been shot to death. I heard on the news he had been committed 4 times to a mental institution. I don't have an answer for all of this craziness, I just know there's one less crazy person running around threatening harm to people. Innocent people sitting in a movie theatre.

Tonight on FOX5 they said investigators have found Dekalb County to be "rotten to the core". Seems like our county isn't too far behind. It cost the taxpayers of Dekalb $400,000 for a report to tell them what they already knew. SMH

I just read this on Yahoo! Police: Suspect dead after report of gunshots at theater . Associated Press 12 minutes ago NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Police say a suspect is dead after officers responded to reports of shots fired at a movie theater southeast of Nashville, Tennessee. Metro Nashville police said in a tweet Wednesday afternoon that there was an active shooter situation at the Carmike Hickory 8 theater, but that the suspect was dead. Nashville Fire Department spokesman Brian Haas said previously that police were responding to the theater in Antioch, a suburb south

He does look good, especially for someone that's been in the hospital as long as he has, and nearly passed as many times as he has. He's like a Phoenix, always rising from the ashes!

There are some terrible wrecks in that area. I can't imagine why they ever made that stretch in front on HD 55 all the way. And some folks will try to do 55 all the way down. And it's just too fast for that much congestion. And I'm typically a speeder but not in that area. Sometimes common sense will prevail. You have to drive for conditions.

Well no, I'm not saying that. Somewhere in the law they have to prove they paid taxes on the extra property. I know it sounds like a mess. -

It's called Adverse Possession and yes, it can happen in the state of Georgia. Mo3, I hope you have contacted a lawyer by now. Definition of Adverse Possession You may be surprised to learn, that under certain circumstances, a trespasser can come onto your land, occupy it, and gain legal ownership of it. The legal term for this is "adverse possession." Through adverse possession, a trespasser can gain ownership of just a few feet of property or hundreds of acres. And the trespasser doesn’t need to intend to take the land by adverse possession. Sometimes it happens through an hone -
