Their really is a double standard when it comes to exposing oneself. In Reo women parade up and down the street nearly naked during Carnaval and are awarded trophies for it. A couple of days ago I was getting out of my car at a convenience store here in Dallas when a young boy maybe 9 or 10 approached me and said his mother needed money for gas and could I spare some change. He had his little speech down pat and it was obvious this was not the first time he had used it. I went inside and made my purchase while he remained outside working the crowd. When he came in with what looked like 5 or 6 dollars he told the clerk he wanted 2 dollars worth of gas and took the remaining loot to his Mother who had never gotten out of the car.
