In the Land of The Free and Home of The Brave it seems we have not only surrendered our freedom, privacy and right to due process we are now without protest handing over our hard earned cash. Cops are seizing hundreds of millions of dollars from drivers and bragging about it in chat rooms This weekend, The Washington Post published a deeply reported look at "highway interdiction," a controversial tactic that has allowed police to seize hundreds of millions of dollars from motorists without formally charging anyone with a crime Only one in six seizures were challenged, typically bec

I noticed this week everyone went bananas over fast food workers demonstrating for 15 dollars and hour yet here in Paulding county we are paying over 18 dollars an hour for a meter reader.? So having a billion dollar industry possibly raise the price of a quarter pounder by a dime ( something btw you can chose not to buy) is outrageous but a meter reader getting 37,980.00 of your tax dollars goes by unnoticed. Job Number: 15-0016.PW19.AG Job Title: Meter Reader Category: Water System Status: Open Additional Status Information: Applications will be accepted th

Maybe we could organize a bingo game at the airport and maybe a friday night poker game at the "movie" studio. Might as well get something out of the tax money the county is taking. I got my property tax bill today maybe it list the cost under "commissioner follies" .

If we have established that neither of these two projects are generating any income are their any estimates on how much it's costing to keep them open ?
-
From what I can tell the only accomplishment these 2 projects have managed to pull off is to give a couple of folks a cush job riding around in golf carts and continuously drain the county treasury.

No it's a "smart" phone.

When all else fails always go back to your petty little contrived Us vs Them narrative. If people spent a little more time on being an American and a little less on phony political ideology we could make some progress in this country.

Someone hacked my checking account and got over $3,600
CitizenCain replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yea I have "free" checking to but don't dare go below your minimum and although I haven't for years bounce a check and look out, return on saving forget about it, don't pay off your credit card balance and you feel like you just took out a loan with the mob. -
HELP ! Starting last friday my cell phone started giving me a fit. I could hear callers but they could not hear me. I did factory resets which caused me even more problems I was on the phone with customer NO SERVICE spent the whole weekend trying to resolve the problem when it suddenly began working again, next day same issue. Now for no reason it's working again and I seem to have more "bars" than ever before. Is it possible it was a network issue and not the phone ? (prepaid phone using verizon network )

People are becoming millionaires defrauding ordinary citizens, emptying bank accounts, stealing identities and the banks just seem to take it as nothing but the price of doing business. Passing the cost back to us thru outrageous fees and laughable interest rates on savings. Making an honest living is starting to look like something reserved for schmucks. -
Post 2 candidate rails against 'good old boys' in Paulding Politics

The saying goes "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely" . How do you plan to avoid the temptation all other politicians seem to eventually succumb too. -
No airshow in Paulding, so we'll have to Rome
CitizenCain replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Paulding airport has probably been booked by a Hip-Hop Tv reality show. -
There are hundreds if not thousands of these reports of brutality and of police abusing their authority. Yet they are seldom held accountable almost never prosecuted or routinely acquitted by sympathetic jurors. It seems we are willing to allow these atrocities in exchange for some sort imagery sense of security.

It took only one second for Wisconsin to take the lead against Western Illinois. The referees originally ruled that it was a touchback, but after a review it was ruled a safety because Hammonds was partially out of the end zone when he picked up the ball. The blunder gave the Badgers a 2-0 lead in what might be the fastest score in a game ever. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/wisconsin-picks-up-a-safety-on-opening-kickoff-after-western-illinois-blunder--gif-162437393.html

SCIENCE, I think it was pointed out in a previous thread the research shows the mental disorders are in the Conservative mind. But deep down in didn't we really already know that ?

Brain-to-brain verbal communication in humans achieved for the first timeHumans just got a step closer to being able to think a message into someone else's brain on the other side of the world: in a first-of-its-kind study, an international team of researchers has successfully achieved brain-to-brain transmission of information between humans. http://news.yahoo.com/brain-brain-verbal-communication-humans-005127052.html

Interesting because the last question I would ever think of asking on pcom is " Where I should go" .

That's funny because the first thing I thought is this is right up the alley of some anal retentive Conservative .

Mysterious Fake Cellphone Towers Are Intercepting Calls All Over The USSeventeen fake cellphone towers were discovered across the U.S. last week, according to a report in Popular Science. Rather than offering you cellphone service, the towers appear to be connecting to nearby phones, bypassing their encryption, and either tapping calls or reading texts. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/mysterious-fake-cellphone-towers-intercepting-162645809.html

Pillowtex Corp. Failure Cost 7,650 Employees Their Jobs.

My good looks has never been in question. The mystery is which came first being a conservative, or being a tightwad. Are tightwads drawn to the conservative movement or does the movement cause them to become tightwads ? It's one of those things that may never be solved a real conundrum.
