That mentally deranged man would buy a gun, whether or not he could do it legally. How can anyone not understand, a psycho will get a gun and use it, no matter what the laws are. Law abiding, sane citizens don't go around shooting people. Sickos do that and if they can't get a gun, they'll use a truck, or a plane or a knife. They will target "gun free" zones so no one can shoot back! Churches, theaters, libraries.............anywhere where they know people will be unarmed. Gun control will only take guns away from the people that need them to protect themselves from psychos.
-
So you think taking guns rights away will stop "enabling" them? Seriously? https://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/2017-chicago-murders/timeline?mon=10 http://crime.chicagotribune.com/chicago/homicides

You cannot legislate away evil.
-
So do you honestly believe gun control will stop mass killings? I'm curious as to how you think that will happen?
-
I hope America never gets tired of the rights given to them in the Bill of Rights. For without guns, citizens are subject to the gangs and government. "shall not be infringed" is pretty clear........no it's very clear. Gun control is a dark path down the road where only the "militia" and gangs will have guns. As such, I give you Venezuela. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-venezuela-crime/venezuela-crushes-2000-guns-in-public-plans-registry-of-bullets-idUSKCN10S2I9

Not going to be rescheduled. They were there a couple hours and the weather was so bad, attendance so low, they cancelled about 4:00. The kids that were there got a whole lot of goodies! LOL
-
Well I recently found out they did end up cancelling this.
-
Yes, it's still on.

The county cannot pay more than fair market value for the property. It's my understanding an independent appraisal was done, and the amount paid was less than the cost of the property purchased to build the Watson Complex originally.

You obviously missed the point, your hatred is showing. If no one wants to be a cop any more, who do you think will enforce the laws? Seriously Pubby, you are not rational since you ran for office. That chip on your shoulder has become a beam.
-
I sure wouldn't consider being a police officer in this day and age. They are a moving target. Wonder what the cop haters are going to do when there are no more cops? When the military moves in to take control.

^^^ This..........for those of you that missed the point, banning guns will not stop violent crimes or mass murder. They will find a way to carry out their mission. No those charts don't help anyone, but if you are only going to tell part of the story, the part you want, you lose credibility. My heart is still broken for those families in Las Vegas, but gun control will only disarm those that need them for protection from crazies. -

And here you have mass killings by country. We're not at the top there either. Then you have contact crimes, many of these countries have gun control measures in place. See how easy that is, to see the whole picture, not just that related to guns. -

Are you saying if we didn't have guns, people wouldn't commit suicide? You can manipulate numbers to come out any way you want. The US is actually pretty low on the suicide charts. If someone wants to kill themselves, they don't need a gun. And if you want a mass kiling, you really don't need a gun either, I'll remind you of Oklahoma City and the Twin Towers, both of which exceeded the number of deaths in Las Vegas by a crazy man. -

That was uncalled for. No, not very Christian like at all. I agree 100%, I wholeheartedly support this, too. -
If you fail to see the parallel between the senseless killing of a police officer and the senseless killing of anyone else, I feel sorry for you. If you don't think cops are scared to death, you need to walk a mile in their shoes.

Today, a police officer in a neighboring county was killed, she was a mother, a daughter, a wife, loved my sooooo many. I know her best friend, she is devastated............and you wonder why police officers have issues with people they stop? When people reach for their wallet, or phone? This is why, killing cops has become the new norm. This guy was white, he stole a car, took a life and all she did was try to enforce the law. Where are the protests for her killing? You won't see riots because a cop was killed needlessly.

Good! Anyone that wastes taxpayer dollars for personal business should be gone. I don't care what follows your name. Now, how many others are there, on both sides of the aisle.

Puerto Rico begs for help while Trump tweets NFL

Growing ever so tired of turning disasters into political footballs............these people need help, Florida and Texas still need help, parts of Georgia still need help and all anyone wants to talk about is how Trump is handling the situation. If you think you can do a better job, have at it. In the meantime, there are many churches in FL and TX still accepting donations for the devestation they encountered, there are places that still don't have power or drinking water. Get off your computer, go to Walmart or Kroger and buy some water, diapers and dog food for those people. It wil -

Like I said, I'm sure glad some of you aren't in charge of disaster response. You wouldn't survive 24 hours in a real disaster. You really don't understand, do you? It hasn't even been two weeks yet. -

What part of the entire island is destroyed, don't you understand? Like the roads are gone, the airport is destroyed, they CAN'T get to the people that need the most help. How do you think MORE people are going to help when they can't get where they need to be? Shipping containers are sitting in ports, unable to be delivered because the roads are destroyed. One thing I know for sure, I'm glad some you people will never have to respond to a disaster. You'd be more hindrance than help, that's obvious. Haiti is still in ruins, what happened to all that Clinton Foundation money to ai -
I have always said, most would rather have a hand-up, not a hand out. My point of the post was that I don't see NFL players taking their knee as a result of police brutality. We must quit hiding behind "color". Only then can there be full acceptance. But don't lie to me, or the public about what your real intentions are. I grew up in Chicago in the late 60s and early 70s. You want to talk about hatred? I saw more racism in Chicago than I've ever seen here. People with black skin were considered beneath those white folks. No I'm not black, I can't crawl in their skin and fee
