you could actually contribute to this country if you wanted. i can see it now... some place far away in some secret military prison for war criminals.... there is a man with toothpicks holding his eyelids open strapped to a chair. he has nothing to look at but blogs authored by some nut job who calls himself "the postman" . its a slow agonizing death for this poor fella... its a shame really.

i think you might have this backwards. i think that law is initiated by conscience. maybe religion was initiated by the same, i dont know i wasnt there. i know what i believe but regardless. i think its fair to say that if you think of being a "decent" person that you can find a lot of those lessons in the bible. having said that maybe you can see the connection of why a bunch of people run around trying to be good people by living by the bible? and if not... then maybe you have contempt for it for some other reasons. the big idea behind it all is to good by others, to live to a higher stand

Well... I had an athiest mock me to my face about how her aboortzion was her legal ending of an unwanted parisite. I didnt even start the conversation. So what im getting at is that these are all perspnal experiences that we all have had with other PEOPLE not religions. I would never assume that you would behave the same way (regardless pf your stance on aboortzion or religion)
