When your kids grow up and move out how do you cope ?

Oh don't get me wrong. I love them, but the whole goal is for them to become independent and productive members of society! And I like Papi/Baby time. -
What did you focus on during labor?
Blondiega1 replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
And I believe it slows down labor. I'm convinced if I had gotten up an walked around with my first one I might not have had a c-section. I refused to lay down until I couldn't stand it any more with the second one and I delivered him. -

Don't let them stick you in a bed! Tell them you will lay down for vitals once and hour but other than that you want to walk! Keep walking and moving as long as you can. Squat when the contractions come to help the baby move down the direction she needs to go. And I focused on the fact that a million women had done this before me, and I could do it too. -

We had a great time, mostly people watching, but we wouldn't do Carnival again! There was the Blue Moon Martini incident............Oooo............let's just say Pineapple farts. Not good.

There should be a People of Carnival.com. Disclaimer: Papi and I are equal opportunity "diss-ers" Eyes blacked out to protect the "strange and unusual." Yes, he's sitting in the lobby, on the leather couch, with no shirt on. But HEY!!! Who's that hottie in the back ground?? We affectionately refered to this guy as "mega mullet". Our not so favorite "bouche". The white sunglasses were a dead give away. Hey Mr. Tangerine man! Sing a song for me! And for the finale'!! Here's "shaking her arse on the hood of white snake's

That kind of money could change your life. Question is for the good or bad?? I'd sure like to try my hand at making it better for the good! Although.....my life is really freaking awesome already!

Ok ladies, which would you rather have?

Agreed. I have wonderful husband that treats me like I'm the single most important thing in his life. I wouldn't trade that for anything. -

Thanks for the suggestions! I like the idea of pearls. Very classy and some of the colored pearls can look really modern! Keep the suggestions coming!

Thank you! I'm very proud of her! She's already researching information for grad school!

My little baby girl is having college cap and gown pictures made today!! I can't believe my little girl is about to graduate college this August! Seems like I just yesterday I boo hoo-ed my way all the way home after dropped her off at kindergarten! What can I get her for a graduation present? She's not a big jewelry person and only wears a few pieces at a time that she swaps out for other pieces occasionally. And what about websites where I can get Graduation invitations made? (Papi.......do NOT recommend the one I know you thinking of right now! )

I had a lot of trouble with ATT DSL too. Switched to Uverse and it's been much better. And if you listen close you might hear spirits talking to you!!! True story. See it all the time on Ghost Hunters!

That and so much more. I've got the pictures to prove it.

Agreed. If you go on the cruise line that says it's "the fun ship", keep in mind they are low cost and just about ANYONE can afford it. (and anyone does!) We went on a "fun ship" cruise for our honeymoon, and we did have a good time, (mostly making fun of the other people on board) but let's just say, it's a very socio and economically diverse crowd. The next cruise we do will be Royal Carribean and I hope, to Alaska!

If we ever make it out west, I want to do the Dam tour and wear the Dam hard hat.
