He's in much better spirits today! I pulled the nerve block catheter last night, so instead of sleeping in the recliner, he was able to sleep in bed last night. That did A LOT for him just to get a good night's sleep! Mainly he's just HOT all the time!! I'm hot natured and he's freezing me out! Got air turned down. (I'm sure there will be yet ANOTHER $500 electric bill) A fan directly on him. AND his leg wrapped in an ice pack! And he is still in some pain with his back (getting that checked in 2 wks) and his ankle. The ankle is REALLY swelling right now and the cast irritates i

I enjoyed the closing ceremonies. I love the Olympics. For a little while, it's easy to believe that there are no socio, economic, political, religious differences. It's just one world. If only for a little while. And for the record, Wish you were here, by Pink Floyd is my all time favorite song. And it was so nice to hear it in the closing ceremonies.

My laptop was PAINFULLY slow and would freeze all the time! Papi ran CCleaner on it and now it runs beautifully!

Worked this morning then went to grocery store. Poor Papi is just miserable. He can't get comfortable for nothing. And we had a Canada goose at the lake's edge that the boy child had to get the .22 and "help" cross over. Poor thing was obviously dying and I couldn't stand seeing it suffer.

It is really nice this morning! You can feel fall just around the corner! I can't wait!

Worked for a quick min. Took care of Papi. Roasted chicken with mashed "taters" -n- carmelized onions and greenie beanies.
