I am still wondering how our goverment has the right to say who can, or cannot marry. They were the ones that made the law that says we have to get a license and be registered in the courthouse to be legally married. There is supposed to be a seperation of government & religion. It really is a MORAL & RELIGIOUS issue, Not a govenment issue. Our government is wrong and will not admit it. They need to start licensing and taxing everyone the same.

Gas fumes sink downward. The water heaters were elevated to keep down potential explosion conditions. I am also curious as to why the newer heaters would not need to be elevated. Please, let us know what you find out.

Yes, I do believe that was it. I had never heard of it. Stay hydrated and calm. The doctor thought she was too exausted to deliver, and was about to prep for c-section. I had a heart to heart with her, and told her what the real deal was. She did not want that. She asked for one more chance, the head nurse pleaded for her too. As soon as she put her heart into it, it was done. Have they scheduled it yet? Good luck.

Sounds so much like what my stepdaughter went through. Her body did not produce the hormone to produce labor. Baby did not drop. She went overdue. They gave her the hormone next to the cervix (on something like a fabric wick). The wick was supposed to start the softening process, and they were to induce the following morning. We had a big baby boy delivered in less than 3-1/2 hours after they started the hormone. No inducing needed! I hope yours is that simple. Her labor was very fast, so she was exausted. I use plastic dish pans from Dollar Tree. As they get larger I transplant into peat pots or paper pots made from newspaper. It is important to not let them dry out. If you kill them you've wasted your time. I like to keep the pots on trays or the newspaper pots in the dishpans. I can water from the bottom and can see if I have left water standing. I continue to add dirt to the stems of the tomato plant to make them grow a better root system. You can add dirt up to the leaves and they will continue to add roots. That makes a stronger, faster growing plant.

When I was in TSC some parents had opened the gates and had a whole gang of kids handling the chiks. They were not playing very nice with them. I can sure understand how some died. I'm just not sure how any survived. You cannot teach hatchlings to fly, but you can squeeze the poop outta them. Poor things.

Today I have 3 Purple Martins on my martin house. FINALLY!!! After having to move away from the huge colony we had started, we have had up houses and gourds for 2 years. This is the first birds to stay and perch on them. If you are not a purple martin fan, this means nothing to you, but to us ....it makes our life much better. No one around our lake has ever had martin colonies, so we hope to teach them the benefits and joy of having these social birds in the neighborhood. They are GREAT bug eaters. Martins during the day, bats at night....ahhhh! Life is good.

All of the deterants like hair, grated soaps, urine, sprays all are diluted by rain & even our good ol' Georgia dew. You have to keep putting them out. I tried EVERYTHING, including: blocking the trails, putting up strings with bells on them in the paths, motion activated lights & water spray. I had the happiest, cleanest, freshest smelling, most brave deer in the neighborhood. :rofl: Just keep planting. Maybe they won't eat it all. Also they love it when you fertilize things. It makes the new growth, so tender.

I make a lot of soups stews, brunswick stew. I line the glass bowl that I will be microwaving my soup in with plastic wrap. I fill it (not too full) with my soup and freeze them. When it is frozen, I pop it out of the bowls and put them into a foodsaver bag and put back into the freezer. You can take out as many as you need and reseal the bag. Works like a charm!

They also do not like purple basil. If you mix it in with your other plants it helps deter them. Deer are browsers and walk and eat. Believe it or not, I started feeding then in one spot in my yard.....not near my garden and close enough to my house that I got to watch them some. They learned where the food was and headed straight to it. They would eat some of the corn, get nervous because they don't like standing in one spot for long, and would leave my yard. Sounds totally wrong but it did work. They like to follow the same trails, so you have to be careful of the spot you choose. I wa

Infra red sauna is very differant from a regular sauna. It is supposed to help remove toxins from the body much better. The health food store I used to shop in, in Kennesaw, had a couple. I would love to have one at home. There are website that sell kits for them. Just make sure you are looking at Infra red, not regular saunas. As with both types, it is important to drink plenty of water to help the flush. (distilled prefered)

Ecigs for people too weak to actually QUIT smoking. I am glad I got stronger than a cigarette. I had a teacher tell me that people smoke to feel secure. I had to think....long & hard to realize what he meant. He said they start smoking to fit in, because everybody else was doing it, they should too. Weight gain? Yes, food does taste better, and you do have more time on your hands. But living long enough to become healthy again does have some great benefits. Just think.....everyone quits smoking one day....it's just better to do while you are still breathing.
