In most cases especially before the market took a turn a credit score was a pretty good indicator of the kind of person who pays their bills. You know .....responsible people. But I do understand that now people's credit scores are in the tank for reasons they have no control over.

You're right. The financial crisis couldn't of had anything to due with a bunch if freeloading morons charging up a bunch of stuff they couldnt afford. Like houses and credit cards. And a bunch of politicians forcing banks to lend money to them.
