That was awesome. It hovered my house for about 5 minutes. We did not get a good picture but were able to look thru the binoculars and see it up close. Thanks for the heads up.

Since there are only a few "restaurants" that can offer samples can you get other food providers? Maybe some of the people who offer salsas/dips/breads/brittle at the different markets?

It appears that we are divided on this subject. There are those of us who prefer to be alert and informed and those of us who prefer to keep their heads in the sand. I do not think this arguing is getting us anywhere. Carry on and best of luck to you.

If I were looking for good scenery for pictures I would take the short trip to Rome and go to Berry College.....beautiful. If you want to see a sample of the scenery there go to their website and view the pictures...breathtaking. Another one I just thought of is Lake Ramona. It is off of Hiram Sudie and Waters Road I believe. They have a FB page if you want to see what it is like.

Mt. Olivet Road. Off of Buchanan Highway there is a pretty wedding venue place but I do not remember the name. Another wedding venue place is behind Pirates Printing. There is a beautiful house with a nice field on Bakers Bridge going towards Douglasville.

I forgot about that, makes sense. But I still want to know what the "fan" noise is. and I mean fan as in a cooling device, not an admirer.

I am directly behind the school and not at all thrilled by the noise. We have also been hearing what sounds like a large floor fan running for a long time. Strange noise.

We saw it at 7pm but could not find the source. I would think it would be out by now. We were at the BP by Hardy's and the area of BOBO had a large plume of black smoke bellowing.

My sister and I decided to go at the last minute. We pulled in at 5 (they close at 6). We were waived on in and got a parking space in the front row. We walked the entire grounds, got some great things and had dinner (vegetable plate from the Methodist Church, yumm) all by 6pm. It was great.

Layaway helps many people. If you do not need it...my hat's off to you. Do not belittle those who need this service.

Don't get too excited. I just called the Hiram WM and she said they will not have layaway.
