We just got the flu shot..not the other.

Our daughter spent 2 weeks in Scottish Rite last March with strep pneumonia as a result of the flu. We will do all we can to prevent this again!! We have already had pneumonia and flu shots this year for both kids. Our son also had the same thing but drs were more aggressive with him since sister already was in hospital with it. I never knew healthy kids could get that sick....she was near death in the matter of hours. Don't take any chances!!

It was open on Tues. My husband stopped in to pick someting up we needed for dinner. He said it looks really nice in there.

I am glad to hear that this one driver is doing ok. We could not determine who was at fault. I saw the car turning onto Ridge Rd then boom!! Keep us updated please.

ANY UPDATES? MY DAD AND I WERE THE FIRST CAR TO TURN FROM RIDGE LEFT ONTO 92. IT HAPPENEND RIGHT IT FRONT OF US. WE LATER SAW THE LIFEFLIGHT COME OVER. HOPE ALL ARE RECOVERING. IT WAS SO CLOSE TO HITTING US AS WELL.

I am a Red Cross reject too. Too much iron in my blood. I have to have blood taken but they just throw a pint away each time...just did it today. Wish I could give!!

Our daughter wants to take dance but does not want to do ballet. Any suggestions on local dance schools?

We were just wondering...does anyone know why the shopping ctr where the Food Lion will be got a name change? It is now Kings Crossing. It was Sudie (something). We know the neighborhood behind the shopping ctr is Kingswood Club where all the streets begin with King. Was that area once owned by a family named King?

We learned bacck in March how quickly a child can become sick. Our 6 yo daughter became deathly ill. We went to the dr twice and they sent us home. We ended up at Scottish Rite the next day with only 24 hrs to live. I lost my mother at the age of 8, but almost losing my child was the worst moment in my life. My heart hurts for this family or any that have to go through a child's death. Prayers said.

My husband got 7th place in the 5K this morning. We really enjoyed the morning at the festival.

Anyone else at 6 Flags today when they had to close the park due to a water main break? We had been there all day. Park closed around 5:45. Got free tickets to return another day.

I have taken workshops with working lunch. We were allowed to go out to purchase lunch but we had to bring it back.

I don't know if you have hotel reservations but the Christmas Inn in Pigeon Forge is great..Christmas all the time!!

We were watching FOX news this morning and heard them read a poem from an Ashley (missed last name) from Dallas, GA. Did anyone else see it? I wonder who if this Ashley saw it???

We were goign to see the movie Imagine That with Eddie Murphy. I read some bad reviews..has anyone gone to see it? What did you think?
