Thank you. Clearly I need to work on my eavesdropping skills :-) It sounds like this officer worked 1 and 2 then. -

I was in a Starbucks today and 2 Cobb PD officers were in there talking to them about something for 3/20? I thought I heard them say something about a Fallen Officer. Was there another one, or were they referring to him? They were Precinct 3 (per their car) -
LOL.... I went in a blockbuster awhile back, and left without getting anything for the same reason. I will spend more in gas to go somewhere else... it's the principal that they are trying to charge me a ridiculous amount for the SAME product. I actually do this with pretty much everything if the price difference is substantial enough. I wouldn't be embarrassed about it..... I'd only get embarrassed if I made a scene about it, then when I got out to the car I'd be like "Oh wow, I can't come back here again for a LONG time"

...Lance piped up – "10:4. I just want to meet with my beat partner". When I arrived, his car was off; no lights were on; no running engine – total darkness. I quietly walked up – asked what he saw and he pointed to the gas gauge…"I ran out. I need gas. Can you go get me some gas.". -that was a funny story lol, thanks for sharing. What zone did he work in Cobb? -
As a woman, I'd say we also know it's not a good idea. So why would the woman let him? In this case I'm guessing money had something to do with it. At least as sleazy as it is, we could say she had a motive. MY QUESTION is who are these women that do this with total bums, over and over again? Of course morally it's all bad, but why do women LET these losers get with them unprotected and then the women want to play the victim. "Now I'm all alone and pregnant", these are the same women who will repeat this cycle... either by having multiple aboortzions, or multiple children w/different father

I passed the test awhile back, but haven't heard anything. Should I call the 1-800 number or the Dalton office? Thanks!

Congrats! I hear they have a very competetive nursing program, so I guess that would mean you rock

I'm 30 & took it when I decided to go back to school as well. I didn't prepare & did extremely well in the non-math areas, but when it came to math ..... I didn't do very well. If I had it to do over again, I would go review math/algebra ahead of time. It was never my subject, but I didn't even know some of the basics when I took that test. You don't need months, but I think reviewing ahead of time is a great idea. Maybe a week or two? Now, because of one of my math scores I need a remedial course before I can take a college level math class. GOODLUCK! I'm sure you will do great.....

Jason has a new mission now; he has joined other heroes to "guard the streets of Heaven" - how beautiful !

HMMM, this does sound more exciting than rice. Maybe that will be Dinner #2 later

I went to the memorial service. I stood right outside the chapel doorway because the chapel was full (including standing room). There were several others standing outside as well, including a marine behind me in full uniform. It was touching. The chaplain said one of the things Jason's Mom said when they went to her house that day to break the news was that he was a "Proud Soldier." It was so touching. HE IS A HERO. Let's all remeber to pray for his family.

Y'all are so great for what you do. I was going to go tomorrow since I'm not working, but wasn't sure if that was appropriate since I didn't know him? I want to show support & respect. I went on Saturday & I'm so glad I did, it was very moving. Thanks again for what y'all do to honor others!
