Look up Summerhill School in Suffolk England. This boarding school started in 1921 and it is very much like unschooling.

Well, it looks like I am the only one that had a bad time. But I felt bad, I was white as a sheet, I lost weight and felt weak. Maybe I am the exception to the rule

I was back at work in 2 weeks. But I had pain for a few days and was sore even after that. I have talked to other people and they bounced back faster than me. I think it depends on the person.

Most people have jobs and dont have time to lounge around in parks.

I heard on the news that all students going to the 7th grade in Georgia needs to get two shots before school starts. Whooping Cough and Meningitus.

Off topic but does anyone remember a cute and funny old movie called "Rhubarb"? It's about a kitty cat that inherits a baseball team. And of course Rhubarb is a term for a fight in baseball. The food Rhubarb is good for pies.

Okay here is something that happened and I want opinions. Maybe I am "out of touch" with the modern way of doing birthdays. I was invited to a young relative's birthday. I bought a nice gift and wrapped it. At the party the gifts were placed on a table. After the party had been going on a while someone asked when the "birthday boy" would open the gifts. The mother said they would be opening would take place in private after the guests left. Is this the new way of doing birthdays?

"We got ours at the Kroger on Ridge Rd. They had really pretty bracelets so you could wear later without the flowers. My daughters was beautiful." Back in the day boys bought them for the girls.

About a year and a half ago I heard the "projects" near the bridge that goes over the Silver Comet near the intersection of Highway 61 and 278 was going to be torn down and a supermarket built there.
