    When I was a child the Christmas Season arrived when we got the Sears Wish Book. I loved to look at it for hours. I know times have changed, but I still remember the fun of the Wish Book. Sad in a lot of ways.

    Around 6:00 at Hwy 61 and Dallas Nebo a big truck was overturned in the ditch and had smoke coming from it. Looked like cops were arresting a guy in a car. Any details?

    One time I heard that people could add personal information so that if you call 911 they will be able to see how many people live there and there ages and medical conditions. Also pets in the home. So 911 will have the information quickly. Does anyone know a website to add this information?

    On Friday Curl's Pharmacy in Dallas in Grand-Opening under a new name. They will have the Varsity Mobile selling Varisty hotdogs!

    There is a sign that HWY 61 in south paulding (New Georgia Area) will be closed but I didn't see the reason. Is this regarding construction or something else?

    There is an actress that has it. Suzanne Rogers who plays Maggie on Days of our Lives. She is still acting so I think it must get better.

    This is a random thing to say but I can't sleep tonight. When I was a kid the teachers told us we had to learn the metric system because by the time we were adults that is what the USA would use. My teachers were wrong. Like I say its just a random thing I thought of tonight.

    Another good movie for Christmas is "Tenth Avenue Angel" starring Margaret O'Brien. The last ten mminutes I cry my eyes out.

    Dating myself here. The first store I remember being open 24 hour leading up to Christmas was the Austell Zayres. That was about 40 years ago!

    In the past Salvation Army bell ringers wore uniforms. Offical Salvation Army uniforms with shiny buttons and everything. Now the bell ringers wear blue jeans and flannel shirts and hoodies. This may be odd but I would feel better giving money if they wore uniforms. Anybody could set up a kettle and a bell. I want to make sure they are legit.
