Did anyone watch the JonBenet special last night?
mimosaflower replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I read a book about the murder. The book said it was not stun-gun marks but marks from a toy train that was in the basement. The book said the marks matched up to the wound. Did the show mention this? I didn't watch it. -

Where to locate the information on the widening of Hwy 61?
mimosaflower replied to kerstinamber's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I believe that the widening is finally set to begin in the near future. I hear from Chick Fil A down to Dallas Nebo. -
Sesame Street has fired "Bob, Luis and Gordon" after 40+ years. Seniority does not count anymore I guess.

This jobs says 12 hours a day. I wonder if that is 60 a week or you work less than 5 days? Interesting.

This is a little scary. What if a kid goes in the yard of a molester or a violent, crazy person?

I was watching CNN last night with all the horrific news. When they were showing people protesting I saw a person holding a baby about 2 years old. WHY bring a baby to a situation like this!?!?! If someone is bound and determined to go to riot in the street PLEASE get a babysitter. That is no place for a child.

I guess I am getting too old to understand things. On Good Morning America they said "Trump doubling down on guns" I have never heard the term "doubling down" in my life. I wish news shows would not direct things at young folks because older people are confused.

Say I am at a crosswalk and the sign says "Don't Walk". But the sign does NOT say anything about turning cartwheels across the street, just that I can't walk. Should I turn cartwheels across the street?

Here is a topic for discussion Before the alligator attack, if you saw a sign saying "No Swimming" would you think that means it's ok to wade? To let your kid wade? I wonder how the aveage person would interpret this. I am just curious about how much explanation a sign reader needs. Do you blame the signs not being clear enough?
-
Oh, I don't mean to blame the victims! I just thought if you were going to die anyway at least you could try to stop the killer, and if enough people did it people could be saved. I feel very sorry for people in that situation, I don't mean to sound otherwise.
-
If there was one shooter and if 100 people jumped on him at one time, or even 50 people it would be over. I mean if you thought you would die anyway why not go down fighting? If enough people jumped him it would end the situation, even if some people did not make it.

I always use "old school" liquid detergent. Are the pods better or about the same. No small kids, so thats not an issue. Do they clean better?

Sometimes he would just drop his hands but he was so fast they still couldn't hit him.

I remember he could make the other boxers look like a fool. Like he would stick out his chin to the other guy just asking to be hit but he was so fast when they swung at him they would miss. And the rope-a-dope where the other guy would get so tired out. Lol

Channel 2 is reporting a SWAT standoff in Paulding County. This was on TV, I didn't see it on their site.
