I love this thread. We all have our pet peeves. Mine are when people say FER when they mean FOR, people who ride my tail when I am driving (did that come out right? lol), know-it-all negative people, and when a cake falls apart when I take it out of the pan!

Also if you want your donation to go to a certain school please just let us know and we will make sure your donation goes to that school. However in order to be able to give cupcakes to all the staff we have to have at least 100 dollars in donations for that school. The cost for us to make cupcakes for one school is 150. Thanks again for yalls support and please help us get the word out!

Caleb was in a bread making mood! We have fresh baked sourdough, jalapeno cheddar, country white, whole wheat, garlic Parmesan, garlic herb, croissants and bagels. Bagels are his new thing. He is experimenting with trying to get them perfect. How long to boil them before they bake, etc. So, if you need, or just want, a good loaf of bread that doesn't have all the nasty chemicals or artificial preservatives in it, stop by! And if you have an idea of flavors for the bagels, he would love to hear it!

We thought long and hard about our cupcake of the month for August...and the big thing for August is the kids and teachers going BACK TO SCHOOL, so to celebrate we are having a Back To School Cupcake A PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY CUPCAKE - moist homemade peanut butter cupcake, filled with grape jam and topped with a delicious peanut butter icing. Then decorated with a shiny red apple! If you don't like jelly with your peanut butter, just ask, we'll leave it out of fill it with chocolate. If you like peanut butter, you are gonna LOVE these. I was told by a customer we made a cake for that it is

old fashioned hairspray, not the new fangled pricey one. spray and blot, spray and blot. then wash.

Hiram high school entire staff is getting a cupcake due to we have already had a large donation for that school. Our hope is to be able to give a cupcake all Paulding County school staff however it all depends on the donations.

We have received a donation from one of our valued customers to give every teacher a gift of appreciation and respect. Our first school will be Hiram High School and with your support (donations) we have a goal to give every teacher in Paulding County a gift of appreciation.We are looking for your help to complete this goal and are very thankful for all the support we are already. You all crack me up! Dr. Cinnamon Roll to the rescue! I grew up going to the Rich's Bakery at Cobb Center. Right at the back door. I loved their thumbprint cookies and cakes. My Mother always got the coconut cake at holidays. I never liked them until I got older, now coconut cake is one of my favorites. Guess my taste buds just had to mature. lol If you have never tried ours, ask for a sample next time you come in. May not be Rich's, but it is sooo good!

A moist yellow cake filled with ameretto cream and topped with ameretto buttercream and almonds. Oh My Goodness, they are so good! But then, I love ameretto anything. lol. I don't know what type of play you might like, but my daughter is in a play in Cartersville called "Trip to Bountiful" put on by the Pumphouse Players. It is at the Legion Theatre. I saw it last night and was really impressed.

Yes! We do all kinds of old fashioned cakes. Caramel, Cooked Fudge, Coconut Cream, Red Velvet, German Chocolate, etc. I have been looking for a new book to read, I will have to check that one out.
