Aww, you are sweet. I think about that song all the time! I was so lucky that my first 3 were GREAT sleepers, 8pm-8am every night from about 3 months. This will pass and I will miss our middle of the night time together.

Thanks for all of the replies, they made me feel better! I didn't want this to seem like a rant about my kids. I love them dearly and am so blessed to be able to stay home with them! I was just feeling a bit overwhelmed earlier... There were too many posts for me to multi quote and I always mess up trying to even do 2. Let's see if I can cover it all...I have tried to let my son "cry it out" but 2 of my daughters are in the room next to his and they wake up when he cries for a long time. My 6 yr old is difficult enough to get up in the morning without having her sleep interrupted. I g

I am having a rough day and need to vent. I don't even care if anyone reads this, it just feels good to get it out. I have 4 kids, the youngest (my only son) just turned 1 on March 9. He has only slept thru the night a handful of times...needless to say I feel terribly sleep deprived. Last night was worse than most, he was up more than his usual one time and the second time he got up I just decided to lay down with him (there is an extra twin bed in his room). The bed is very uncomfotable to me, I am used to memory foam and this is a regular matress, it's hard to go back to regular mattresses

I can not even bring myself to watch it. I have 4 children and they are the loves of my life. I have been very blessed to stay home with them all and wouldn't trade it for a 9-5 any day! In the event we needed sitters, I have nieces that are old enough to babysit and also found a couple good babysitters that worked the nursery in my old church that love my kids like their own! I can not imagine what would cause a person to harm a child.

I appreciate all of these replies, I am so torn about even going to school now. I don't want to spend several years going to school and taking time away from my husband & 4 kids to work in a government run system that doesn't have the patient's best interest at heart. I want to help people and I don't think I'll be doing that by having to refuse them care. I definitely have a lot to ponder...

It was Target on Dallas Hwy & Barrett Pkwy. My friend was there and saw them take the baby out of the car and put it in an ambulance I can't imagine leaving my kids in the car so I can go in the store. It's a pain in the butt for me to go to any stores b/c I have to get our my huge double stroller since my 2.5 yr old & 1 yr old don't like carts, not to mention how nasty they are! But I take them in with me!!

Of course not! It is just geared more toward what the baby needs and I suppose a multivitamin would do the same thing for you. Something in them happens to help your hair grow, I think vitamin B but I can't remember!

Hair, Skin & Nail Vitamins or Prenantal vitamins work well. Or you could always get extensions!!

I know, I know, the bill has been a hot topic for days!! But yes, I am starting another topic on it! We know that people are either for or against this bill being passed, that is NOT what this thread is about. I want to hear from people who work in the medical field. I want to know how this bill will affect your jobs. Will being a doctor or nurse still be an honorable profession? I just applied to college to get my nursing degree but now I am wondering if it is still a wise choice. TIA!

That is insane! My dad died in Dec 04 and I had him cremated (as he wished) the total cost was $1100 and that included 20 copies of his death certificate. I opted for a "plain box" since I took him to the beach to spread his ashes!

That is what life insurance is for...to cover funeral and other expenses. We should not expect the government to fund anything. Everything they touch has been a disaster, with the exception of the military. IMO

We have been happy with DTV...for the most part. We recently upgraded from a standard receiver in the living room to HD/DRV and they wanted to charge us $199 for the box when they offer it to new customers for free. We told them we would check other options and they quickly offered to give us the upgraded receiver for free!! The only problems we have ever had were with installation. The techs always seem to want to do everything half a$$ed so they can hurry up and finish. I still can't wait to get U-Verse...hubby works for AT&T and we can't even get it at our house yet.... Good

I had to take my oldest to a pediatric cardiologist years ago, I can't remember who we were sent to though. I will say a little prayer that your son is ok and I'm sure the doctor and his staff will be wonderful!

I agree, I feel so sorry for her kids....
