I guess a lightbulb clicked on for the board of education. Since other counties have closed. And the back roads are still bad.

I kept my child home. BOE failed us again. Thanks to the teachers taking care of the children at school. I know at scoggins middle school has special needs children who are staying overnight ay school. My heart goes out to all the teachers and students. my childs well being is more important than winter break.

It says students and twelve month employees on a two hour delay. It is going to be below freezing all day tomorrow. Did they not learn from today.

That is what I was told. the busses would be running all night. heard from several people. seems it would be easier to keep kids home one more day.

they definately need to dress warm. i just wander if it is the right choice. leaving the busses running all night and it is going to be cold in the schools.

i have to keep him home for his well being

it is still going to be cold in the morning and the elementary kids will be waiting in the dark and cold. but to me seems like it would be cheaper to leave the kids home another day then let the busses run all night long. that seems like it would be more expensive or is there something I am missing. I am leaving my child home tomorrow because he has medical problems but that is for his well being. i am wondering if they made the right choice?
