I had a neighbors child come to my door to ask me if I knew how to do a math problem. He explained that he had asked everyone he knew, but no one could help him. I asked him if had his textbook, so he could look back at that for examples of problems. He said that his school didn't give textbooks out to them. Is this true? Why wouldn't the school give out textbooks? He is in middle school. So these kids are suppose to just take notes in class, and only have that to use? I know some people in college who can't even do that!

We are watching this too! Now I have a craving for fried okra and fried chicken!

I just got the renewal bill. It has gone up $175. We got a letter saying that it is because of all the storms we had in the state. I have Allstate. Has anyone else had their rates go up this much?

I'm looking to get some pictures taken of my little one for Christmas and maybe a family pic too. Where is the best place to go? Any suggestions?

I think it is expensive, but I feel that it is well worth it for me. I know that it isn't for everybody, but I love it there. My professors are great. Whenever I have had any questions, they would always email me right back with an answer. I thought it would be really hard going back to school after all these years (I graduated high school in 1992), but it's been great! It is a little more challenging for me now with a baby in the house. I am taking less classes now. I was taking 5 a semester, but now I've cut it back to 4.

I am getting my Bachelor's degree through Liberty University. It's 100% online. It is a conservative Christian school and I absolutely LOVE it. I have 12 more classes until I have my Bachelor's in criminal justice with a minor in psychology.

Congrats! I know exactly what you mean! I had my baby in June, and I was 36 at the time. I told my husband I didn't know you were considered over the hill after 30! My doctor finally had to give me phenergan for the nausea. They kept telling me it would go away after the first trimester. I took it up until the day I delivered her!

I passed this mess earlier towards 61. There were police all over the place. I saw the runners and the torch, but couldn't figure out what was in the back of the truck. --or for that matter what the heck they were doing!

My 5 month old get 5-6oz bottles a day. Two of those have cereal in them. I will give her some apple juice during the day. I'm trying to get her to start eating some baby food. She gives me that look like I have 3 heads or something! She seems to like the fruit, but the other stuff doesn't seem to make her too happy. She's going to have to learn quickly because her formula went up $1 a container in the past few weeks.

I'm right there with you. We've had the exact same problem. I think we're going to go with waste industries.

We always stay at the Radisson, but we park at the port. The whole shuttle thing is too much trouble. We are usually able to board the ship early too! Just make sure that all of your paperwork is in order.

We have had the same problems. Customer NO SERVICE!! They also argued with us and said that we didn't put the can at the road. Yep, I guess the 20 or so other people in the neighborhood didn't either! How do you skip entire neighborhoods?

This is the second week this month that American Disposal has not shown up. Anyone else having problems with them? Looks like I'll have to go back to Waste Industries.

It looks like my little one is cutting her first tooth. She is extra grouchy and drooling really bad. I bought some baby oragel, but was wondering if anyone had some other tips for me to try. I thought that 3 and a half months was early for teething, but obviously this child has a mind of her own!---much like her mother!
