  1. We are looking for a good, low mileage Ford Expedition preferably a 2004 or newer. Please message me if you have one for sale. Thanks!
  2. So, pulling forward to avoid a bad grade really isn't showing the correct numbers anyway. So it just says to corporate...yes I can meet your ridiculous time limit. Even when you can't. hmmmm and yeah - it bugs me too when there is no one behind me.
  3. Does anyone know of anyone with St Bernards for sale? I can't find any close by. Any help would be great!
  4. My daughter was a student at Chattahoochee & her son went there for $75 a week. Not sure what the rate is for non-students.
  5. I know that your road is a very dangerous place to pull out, but you are the one that needs to yield to oncoming traffic - especially when you are pulling out to turn left. Then, when you almost T bone someone because you think they should stop on BB to let you out, please don't start screaming at the driver & then try to scare them by speeding up to ride their butt & then pass them ON BAKERS BRIDGE!!!! We got your tag number. Already called it in as road rage. You know who you are. And this is a grown woman - not a teenage driver. Not cool at all.
  6. Just got a nixle report - both lanes closed - avoid for the next 2-3 hours. yikes.
  7. LOVE Dollywood. It's so much better than Six Flags in my opinion,
  8. I have always enjoyed SVB. I did however, hear that it was for sale & it sounds like some investors were looking at buying it.
  9. No Lo is not allowed at that age. Not an option.
  10. Zaxby's has family night on mondays. 4 meals with drinks & 6 cookies = $20
  11. where do they shoot fireworks in douglasville tonight?
  12. Ours went down $22,100. My house is now worth $20k less than it was when I bought it in 2000.
  13. What is DACkids? The stuff at PC parks & rec sounds great! Thanks so much!
  14. Any ideas - camps, etc for this age group for summer fun?
  15. I just went yesterday to get mine. I went to the Cobb Women's Center at Cobb Hospital - loved it! Mine are also free once a year as preventative. I have United Healthcare. That stinks that you had to pay so much. I highly recommend Cobb though.
  16. I don't think they release the records until 10 years later. They may release numbers, etc, but I don't believe you can actually see copies til then.
  17. Per Scottish Rite hospital, Georgia passed a law that kids are allowed to carry their inhaler on their person at all times. They do not have to check it in at school. They have not had to for years but parents have not been made aware of this. You can call CHOA & ask for the lady that does the asthma education classes. She will be glad to provide anyone with a copy of this law. I hope she is okay too. And yes, those inhalers are about $200.
  18. Thanks to everyone that actually had the info I was looking for. I'm not insane. I have raised 2 kids of my own. My son was a baseball freak. Played into college. He started when he was 5. Of course, I'm not looking for a travel team for him when he turns 3. Just social interaction playing a game he loves. I would rather he have fun outside playing with other kids than just throwing the balls and busting out the tv or windows at the house. Tiny tot ball is exactly what I'm looking for. Something where they just get out there in a semi-organized manner & play and work on
  19. My grandson is a baseball freak - cries because he can't play. Does anyone know of a place he can play? He won't be 3 until October. Any ideas? Thanks!
  20. I started smoking at 14. I quit cold turkey after 22 years. I tried all kinds of different ways to quit. None of them worked except cold turkey. My husband did the same thing. You can do it. Good luck. Just make up your mind to do it & you will.
  21. I live in South Paulding & work in Buckhead / Piedmont Rd. I go back roads. Never even hit the interstate & I'm at work in about an hour. It takes a little longer if I do the bus/train route. But if I do that, I can catch a nap. In the morning, the bus is a silent ride. The driver cuts the inside lights out & everyone knows the rules. In the afternoon it's a different story - not much napping then. Even if I jump on the interstate & go 20 to 85, it only takes 45-60 minutes. to me it's better than going to kennesaw or marietta.
  22. I've been on the phone for a while now trying to find out. There is a "severely degraded" tower that is serving my area (south paulding/douglasville) and they are in process of fixing it right now. It should be working again soon. Thank goodness I have my land line!
  23. Is anyone else having trouble with their cell phones?
  24. I thought I had seen a lot of people earlier saying that they got jobs as census workers?
