She should have hired a criminal lawyer. A blind, deaf man who is illiterate could see she was being targeted by LE. And if Kaine used anything based on the criminal investigation to file for the divorce or RO, she would need that kind of representation. Has anyone read whether ANYONE else took a lie detector test? I mean, Kaine DOES have a history of violence. It is something to be considered. And a stranger is still a viable option because the school failed so miserably at supervision that day. What if Kyron stopped by the bathroom on the way to class, and a stranger or even someone fam

He left work that morning. What time does his day start? If he has to be at work at 7am, leaving at 8:30 to work at home might not be strange. He is a viable person to consider. And if he did this with another person, maybe they picked up Kyron. Maybe his favorite uncle who is now sitting in jail for child molestation. You have to look at them all. We have heard repeatedly that Terri was a wonderful involved mother. Volunteering at the school often. Being loving and caring. Supportive. Etc., etc. What have we heard about Kaine's parenting prior to Kyron disappearing? He is suddenly a wond

And, let's not forget, restraining order were filed against him previously. He apparently has a history of violence, and a family full of sex offenders.

I have been thinking about how everyone is crucifying this woman for things she has done since Kyron disappeared. She hasn't publicly accounted for her day. Neither has the father. He left for his office that morning, but then 'left work early that morning to work from home." Why has no one discussed where he was while his son was missing and no one knew it yet? She didn't cry. I have yet to see any emotional reaction from the father. The stepfather, yes. But the father? No. He didn't even seem mad, or shocked, or anything. She went to the gym to workout. He went with her. So, he was work

It does sound like you could benefit from therapy.

EXACTLY!

Just don't stop considering other options. The real perpetrator may be getting away with murder because everyone wants to crucify a woman who liked to workout sometimes, and just happen to be the one who drove him to school that day. Look for real proof. The pinging thing is nothing. I always thought it had serious meaning too, until I did some research. I can see how it can narrow down a wide search, but it is too vague to pinpoint a moment in time. Don't be blind to other possibilities. If it is her, find the real evidence. But if it isn't her, find out who it is. Don't focus on her to

DUI is VERY bad. I agree. How many of you have every driven home after a barbeque and a couple of beers with your kids in the car? You drank and drove and recklessly endangered your children. You are now guilty of murder! After all, you did the same thing she did. That one time is not enough for me to condemn her to the electric chair for murdering Kyron. I need to see proof that SHE did it. What if, just think about it for a minute, KAINE did it. He left for work, but then left work early that day "to work from home." What if he was planning to divorce Terri all along. He was at the

Where is the history of the crazy psychotic woman? The history I can find is that she has a degree in education, she likes to work out, she was a very attentive mother to all the children, she volunteered at the school often. Basically, she was a great mom and liked by others. When did she become psychotic? I missed that page. I mean BEFORE he disappeared. Not that day. I think a lot of moms might go a little psychotic with a missing child and everyone blaming you. I am not saying she didn't do it. I don't think it makes any sense that she did it. But, if they are going to blame her, have

I am still not convinced. Too many other parents have been accused for years, and they did nothing wrong. Most recently, Jaycee Duggard. Her stepfather was crucified. His marriage dissolved because his wife thought he may have done something even though everything she knew about him told her he couldn't hurt Jaycee. People scorned him. Blamed him. After all, he was the last one to see her. And she was found. Alive. Years later. After being tortured by a pedophile for years and having his children. All because they focused on the stepfather because it was a great circumstantial case. Don't

http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/06/kyron_horman_stepmother.html If she didn't do this, they are letting the real offender get away. Maybe there is so little evidence because she didn't do anything wrong. The school was open to the public that morning. No one had to even sign in. Anyone could have been wandering around that school. If someone with bad intentions came into that school, they could have simply watched for a moment of opportunity. A child alone for a second. A little boy who decided to stop by the bathroom, or one who was going to see something alone. And in

Or the stress got to her and she flipped out. He flipped out. The whole thing got crazy. And none of them are guilty. If that is the case, this is the tragedy that continues to grow. If she is guilty, death penalty is fine with me. But, too often, the police limit their focus in this type of thing and innocent people are targeted. I posted a few cases where this has happened. If that is the case here, they are letting a child abductor escape with his or her victim. I hope if they have zeroed in on her, they have irrefutable evidence, not just a thought.

They found a body of an older man out there. He had drowned while fishing. Since then, I think they found another body, but still a grown man. And I researched 'pinging.' It is accurate within 5-85 miles depending on the area. The more remote the area, the less accurate it is. Something to keep in mind. It means, if you are lost and use your cell phone, they would know to look in the general area of Paulding county, but not definitely which one spot, unless you continued to 'ping' and they could narrow it down from that. One ping does not make good evidence of anything. It is simply a poi

I don't currently have the links, but I have been following the case very closely. For some reason, it caught my attention right away. In the photos, there are other people at the science fair. These people acknowledged seeing her there when interviewed. As did other people there. She was definitely seen at the science fair by others. They have no question about where she was until about 8:45. It is after that time, that people are having issues. I am involved in several other boards discussing this case (about 6). Once you dig past the namecalling and rumors, you can find a few real facts.

I still don't understand why she would choose this way. It seems too convoluted. So many easier options. Options where she could have been alone without any risks of being seen with him. And if it ends up NOT being her, this drama has destroyed the entire family. She may never recover from being blamed. I just remember cases where the police have arrested parents, even had some serve years in prison, only to find out that a stranger was indeed the one who did the crime. They often jump on the easier conviction instead of the truth. http://www.law.northwestern.edu/wrongfulconvictions/exonerati

I have a new site to check out and bookmark! I just added a hi-def hookup to my new Wii. I have NEVER bought a video game system before. My kids are in their 20s, but I am ditching the dish and switching to PlayOn and adding NetFlix using the Wii. My daughter spent her weekend watching Lost on Hulu using PlayOn. I think it will be the best thing we have ever done! Should save us about $70 a month. Makes that price for the Wii not so bad, plus, swordfighting is giving me a major workout. lol! -
The news outlets in the Portland Oregon area are the worst! They do not seem to have any real facts for anything. I am absolutely dismayed at the lack of journalistic professionalism of these people. They have reported his body was found a few days ago. They reported arrests. They reported separations. They reported divorce and restraining orders. All from "sources" which they never reveal. It is sick! You cannot trust the news to give you anything of substance. Hopefully, when this is over, they will try to find the truth buried deep in the rumors and lies they are posting every 5 minutes

http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/06/kyron_hormans_stepmom_terri_mo.html It was a rumor. Family statement to be released soon.

Sadly, this school had no camera. I think she simply had too many better chances to do it. It would be risky for her try to sneak him out. He didn't say his mom was taking him to another exhibit. He didn't say anyone was. Just that he was going. The boy was initially on the news, but then the police stopped talking about him. 4 days later, a homeless repeat sex offender attempted to kidnap a boy from another elementary school less than 20 miles away. The police released him. They said since he only grabbed the boy's backpack, they couldn't call it an attempted kidnapping. REPEAT SEX OFFENDER!

He was seen by several people. There are pictures taken by the stepmom at the school that morning, and by others, as well. He was also seen by at least one teacher, and a child in his classroom. He told the child in the classroom that he was going to see another exhibit. One with electricity. His backpack and other stuff was in the classroom, too.

I just don't get why she would bother taking him to school if she planned to do something to him. She had daily opportunities with much less chance of any witnesses at all to dispute her. Why choose a day at school? I mean, he could have disappeared playing in the yard. He could have drowned in a bathtub. Fallen down the stairs. Disappeared from the bus stop. Etc., etc. Why would she take him to the school and then take a chance at sneaking him out the door without being seen? It makes more sense to me that a stranger saw an opportunity and got him out the side door of the school near his

Sounds like your falling for the sob stories instead of the truth. If they are in jail, there is a good chance there is a lot more to the story than they are telling you. Yes, they do lie sometimes, but they don't usually testify against the boyfriend they love. I never said ALL of them are guilty of something more serious, but MOST are. I have heard the plea bargain deals. It is NOT statutory rape when he is 18 and she is 9. Sorry. But that is the truth. And if they can get a plea bargain deal, they will take it if it keeps a child from having to testify in open court, gets some jail time, an

Thank you Madea. That is the truth. I have worked with these kids way too much to believe the stories.
