  1. I wondered if you could see the tears. I do look happy, don't I. Some have asked why I wasn't smiling, the wife replied that was the biggest smile she has ever seen me have in a picture. (including the ones at our wedding)
  2. Exactly. Let's be real. Your average white people, your average black people, heck, just your average people of any race, do not condone or accept these type of riots and "protests". The only people that do condone it are people who would do the same thing, given the opportunity or people who have an agenda that has nothing to do with the truth, fair play or justice. Your average person, regardless of race or religion, does not support or condone this type of behavior.
  3. Yep, nothing says protesting for justice like that list!
  4. A very good friend of mine, a black man, when I asked him about this several months ago said the following. My buddy's comments: If Brown had come at me (my buddy), the way the officer said that Brown came at the officer, I (my buddy) woulda shot his azz also. That was one big dude! As far as the investigation, it needs to investigated by someone other than the Ferguson police. (My questions to him were, is the state police or another police department doing the investigation, alright with you? Would you accept their findings?) Sure, that would be fine. (discussing the looting and bu
  5. You can tell by what is looted what this is about, McDonalds, liquor stores, Dominoes Pizza, etc.
  6. I think Charles Barkley said it best when discussing what he called, "a dirty, dark secret", in the black community. "We're the only ethnic group that says, 'hey, if you go to jail, it gives you street cred.' "
  7. Thank you for all of your kind words. As far as age, all I can say is thank you Ronco and Ron Popeil.
  8. Me! Me! Me! Ohhh, that's not a good d thing huh.
  9. What will will help stop these kids from being shot by law enforcement is their parents teaching them to respect law enforcement and the community enforcing strong penalties for running and trying to evade the police. While running or fighting with the police is something that has always happened, if you speak to law enforcement officers with 20 plus years of service you will find that this is become something that happens regularly rather than occasionally. It is all about what the kids are taught growing up, what they see modeled in their home by their parents. Sadly however, the majority
  10. Round two, and again, nothing says justice quite like free booze, free Micky D's, sneaks and a good building and car burning. Gotta love them "protesters" for justice. What's that you say? Justice was actually served? How can that be? The criminal is dead and the officer, who the criminal tried to kill, is not in jail? Don't you know that in these days, that is not acceptable justice? You must be out of your mind! Next thing you will be saying that people who break the law and come to this country illegally should have to leave instead of being given a free ride! What's that you s
  11. If I have any of the facts wrong, I would like to correct the errors. Please advise where I am incorrect, I tried to only state known facts, but I could have made a mistake.
  12. Then my mind must be in my big toes, cause when I am digging out a toenail, that is where the pain is.
  13. Like GD said, I just dig mine out. It is a good news, bad news deal. Hurts like the blazes while you are digging it out, but it feels so good when it is out. I get them all the time. If you have some pain killers laying around, take one and get to digging. (also, if you have some pain killers laying around, may I mention how bad my back has been hurting me )
  14. He's busy trying to get him a free new pair of Air Jordans, in the orthopedic style.
  15. I was just wondering if there was something wrong with the posts, since both yours and CC's replies were empty. You are entitled to your opinion. I am not real sure what the best way to handle this mess is, I think it would have helped if the president in his speech had said something along the lines of, "peaceful protest is the American way, but criminal acts will be meet with as much law enforcement force as needed to stop those acts, so bear that in mind". Perhaps he did say something like that, I changed it over to the game.
  16. I don't know why, but the title of this thread reminds me of this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Y-9FuL5FP8
  17. That's what the wife told me, she said it was about feelings. I said I feel disgusted, she told me to hush up, so I told her......yes ma'am.
  18. TBS (I'm sorry, I always think of Turner Broadcasting System) and CC, did you mean for your replies to NJ to be blank?
  19. If Micheal Brown had not robbed a convenience store minutes before he encountered the Ferguson police officer, if Brown had gotten out of the middle of the road, without any smart remarks and attitude, when told to do so by the police officer, if Brown when told to come over to the police car had not probably been afraid he was going to get busted for stealing and had done so peaceable, if Brown had not attacked the police officer and tried to wrestle the policeman's gun away from him....would we have had the riots, the looting and the burnings the first go around and then the debate over what
  20. Obama says, there are certain segments across this country that don't trust law enforcement. Yeah! They are called criminals.
  21. What I am wearing is none of your business, just telling it like it is. Or at least as best as I can see that it is.
  22. Don't get to excited, the Justice Dept will probably file charges. They are not going to let this officer off for stopping a criminal from beating or shooting him to death.
  23. If true, here come the riots. Or if the truth be told, the excuse for lawless behavior and looting.
