Yep. For a drunk guy that wasn't aiming, it was pretty good. In the left side and out the right. I wonder if she every noticed, those .22's don't make a big hole in a Cabbage Patch Kid's head. (Plus it was in the hair line)

The one and only time I fooled around with my guns while drunk was back around 1982. I was in the living room and was unloading a .22 semi-automatic pistol and shot my girlfriend Cabbage Patch Doll through the head. Yes, I murdered an innocent Cabbage Patch Kid. (never did like that doll) ETA: It was an accident and I learned a good lesson. Hope this guy does the same.

Did LPPT just wish me a heart attack? Good advice and I am trying to get in the spirit more. Did some shopping this afternoon and it wasn't that bad. Now that is a cute and funny story. I met Beach Bum this afternoon, as nice as she is lovely. -

I don't know why this subject stirs so much angst. Some love the Mcrib, some hate the McRib. What is the problem, it is not like someone said, I'm heading down to get a McPeople. Oh wait.....nah, it couldn't be.....or could it?

Wife woke me at 5:30 to fuss at me, I am walking near the edge with everyone. -
It has to be tough to get a "hitman" business off the ground with all these LE types taking away potential customers and gving the business a "bad" name. Just kidding, of course it is a bad thing and I am glad they caught her before anyone got hurt, because the "target" is not always the only one to get hurt in these deals.

Ahhh, must be an IT guy. And us sales people are just naturally wonderful, nice, caring people. It has nothing to do with making a sale, we are generally conservatives who truly do care about those around us and put it into practice, not just lip service. (sorry, it just seemed to easy) ETA: -

I would respond to more but I feel sorry for you. Ask someone what the line; "Did your mother have any children that lived?" means. It has nothing to do with the school shooting, besides your from MI and that happened in CT. Good luck counting to twelve. Try reading all the words. "You ever wonder why this crap happens up north and in liberal states like CO?" Edited to make sure the and is big enough to read -

CT has long been know as a great place to be a child molester or other type of criminal. They are very soft on crime. Good place to molest children or commit murder and either get away with it or receive a small sentence. -
What Can We As a Society Do About These Horrible Tragedies?
cookies are sweet replied to Beach Bum's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I agree 100%. It used to be that family, those who knew the mentaly ill best, could have them committed before they harmed themselves or others. Now because we have gone so far in the other direction, quite often something really bad has to happen before action can be taken. -

My point and my opinion is that limiting the number of rounds that a magazine holds is really not going to stop those who wish to do these types of things. Pinpointing an AR15 or other "military looking" guns is the same. I do not have all the answers to this problem, I do have my opinions that I believe are correct about some of the answers. But limiting the style of guns and the mag capacity is, in my opinion, a "feel good" solution which only affects those who would not do these things anyway. I can take an semi-automatic pistol and make a clip which will hold 30 rounds and I with -

That you have no interest in learing about guns is obvious. Almost any semi-automatic gun that uses an external clip can have the clips altered or clips made that will hold 25 or more rounds. A lot of the older, and I would guess the newer ones also, semi-automatic guns can be altered to fire full automatic. This is illegal, but then criminals don't follow the laws. -

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Assault weapon is a political term, often used by gun control advocates, typically referring to firearms "designed for rapidly firing at human targets from close range," sometimes described as military-style features useful in combat. When ever I hear anyone use the term "assault weapons", I know they do not know very much about guns. The "assault weapon" ban did, and for those states that still have them, does nothing to prevent any of the things that have happened this year. It is just a psychological band aid for those who do not understand anyt -

Some may be aware of this. Where would you rather live, where crime is higher or lower? The following is a 2007 article about Kennesaw, GA and Morton Grove, IL. In March 1982, 25 years ago, the small town of Kennesaw - responding to a handgun ban in Morton Grove, Ill. - unanimously passed an ordinance requiring each head of household to own and maintain a gun. Since then, despite dire predictions of "Wild West" showdowns and increased violence and accidents, not a single resident has been involved in a fatal shooting - as a victim, attacker or defender. The crime rate initially pl
