Once the Titanic hit the iceberg, nothing I repeat NOTHING was going to stop the ship from sinking. The only thing that the captain, crew and people had any control over, was how many were saved. That is the state of our country, in my opinion. We have hit the berg and we are going down, the only thing we can control is how many are saved. That is my goal, to try and save those I can, including myself. BUT, let me say, I hope I am wrong about all of the above. I will gladly eat all the crow anyone wants to give me if I am wrong.

For those who may care, here is a short list of some upcoming movies that I enjoy. I like the older movies and rarely see a "new" movie. If you don't like them.....then I wouldn't watch them. If I went to a biker bar and protested them for wearing leather and all they did was make me eat hot dogs & hamburgers and then duct taped me to a pole and peed on me, when they cut me down from the pole, I would get on my knees and thank the bikers for being so nice to me. After all, one visit to the throne and a hot shower later and I am right back where I started. Lots better than two weeks in a hospital and two months in a cast.

The show that was seen with Captain Pike, played by Jeffery Hunter, was the original pilot for Star Trek. They then took scenes from the original pilot, cut them with the courtroom scenes and that was the one that played on TV. A couple of other trivia notes about the original pilot. Gene Roddenberry, who wrote a lot of the radio scripts for Gunsmoke, wanted to have the 1st officer of the Enterprise be a woman. So in the original pilot, the part on Number One was played by Majel Barrett, who later married Gene Roddenberry. Majel Barrett resurfaced in the TV series, playing Doctor McCoy's
