I don't know if this goes along with the topic, but I used to date a girl that was a "packer checker". She worked for RJ Reynolds and her job was to check the cigarette packs as they came down the line to make sure they each had the full 20 cigarettes in them. And she didn't even have to take off her shoes to count! True story.

From what I saw today: MOST motorists do NOT stop at stop signs. MOST motorist do NOT illegally pass vehicles on the right side, when the road condition doesn't warrant it. MOST motorists do not bob and weave through traffic. MOST motorists do NOT have working turn signals on their vehicles. Whew! It was rough out there today.

I got a chance to see the 1st episode this week. I learned a lot. Adams mother was the daughter of a New England sea captain. Hoss' mother was from Sweden. Little Joe's mother was from the French Quarter and in this episode is named Felicia, her name was changed in later episodes to Marie. Ben is gruffer and tougher than ever and doesn't like anyone on Ponderosa land. He tells Hop Sing, about a man they caught on the Ponderosa, "Hop Sing, if we aren't back by morning, KILL him." This coach has morals and standards and he stands behind them. He won't last long teaching with that attitude. (someone will sue and then they will get rid of him) They say when a high school kid does something they shouldn't, "He/she's a good kid, it was just a mistake, it was peer pressure."
