  1. I understand your feelings and why you feel the way you do. I moved to Paulding County in 1998 because my ex moved here with our son and I wanted to live close by him to participate in his life. I understood that there would be some things that I liked that I would have to drive a ways to get. BBQ not being one of them, never saw a county with as many BBQ places, churches and funeral homes as Paulding. (not a criticism, just an observation) I lived in Cobb when it went through the growth and change and saw the problems that came with that. I lived in Cherokee when it went through the
  2. The Bulldog fans that didn't got to school there are. TN fans are pretty cool, well the men anyway, the ladies will cut ya.
  3. Did I need to meet you guys at the airport for my tickets? Momof 3? Momof 3? Hello? Momof 3?
  4. I grew up with GA being the main team everyone in the neighborhood pulled for. Then when I was 21 and slamming GT someone asked if I went to GA, no. Did my dad go to GA, no. Did anyone in my family go to GA, no. They asked me this, "Then why don't you pull for both local teams except when they play each other? After all, you didn't go to either school, nor did your family." I decided he had a point, and pull for both teams except when they play each other, then I pull for GA. But I like tweaking the GT folk, it is so easy to do.
  5. I know nothing about Paulding County politics that could help you. (I am from Cobb, there I knew who my crook was) But I am behind you all the way. If I can help in any way, please let me know. PS The comment on who "my crook was" has to do with growing up and living a large part of my life in Cobb County. When I moved to Paulding in 1998, I went to vote in my first election in Paulding by absentee ballot. When the lady handed me my ballot, I looked at it and said, "I'm from Cobb County, this is my 1st election voting in Paulding County, in Cobb I knew who my crook was, but out here I
  6. I know, I was playing back. After all, we may be the last two guys left who know who Lewis and Ron are.
  7. Dang! Another negative. It really is a tough crowd! I'm glad I am wearing my bullet proof gloves.
  8. I agree with the Lewis statement, if it doesn't settle it, it should. It appears that Hudspeth started his own "newspaper" and lives in Costa Rica.
  9. Wow, two negatives. Tough room. Ya'll do know it was a joke, right? Hence the smiley thingy. (of course it could be that it wasn't a funny joke)
  10. Then why is it there? Along that subject, is the H in herb silent? And if so, then is my buddy's name pronounced Erb?
  11. No, go back to sleep. We will wake you if something important happens, like Fred's in Dallas closing.
  12. Dang right I do! He is a good kid, but he eats the last of the treats and drinks the last of the root beer. Some things cannot be tolerated! (and since momma is there, my objections are overruled) (well....overruled is not exactly correct....more like ignored)
  13. See that Tech degree is really paying off.
  14. Gee Ms Jenilyn, you sure look nice today. :said in my best Eddie Haskel voice:
  15. Nah, but only a real meany head doesn't have a soft spot for mamas.
  16. Not that is dirty pool. How can I make fun of you for making a pillow for your mother. I would have to be a heel to do something like that. Only thing worse would be making fun of you for making a pillow for your dying grandmother.
  17. Irregardless of what y'all say, I go my own way.
  18. This shutdown has to end NOW. The wife's son got furloughed this week. Now is the time for the government to get back to work! Before the son returns home to mama.
  19. Exactly! And H&R Block is easy to get to, right there in the Walmart.
  20. Let me tell you what burns my butt! A flame about 3' high. (I crack me up)
