  1. Ohhhh noooooo, you're a lawn Nazi. Other than having (from what I can tell) I nice lady, a nice kid and being a Falcons fan, you are starting to have a lot of negatives. Those negatives could cost you......ok, I'm not exactly sure how they could cost you....but they could. What about the video doesn't she like? The Duck people? The fact that is shows how paying someone to tell you what to do with your own house and land isn't.....well....you know? BTW, do you play golf? We got a left wing, yankee, liberal, atheist, young golfer in mrnn and then we have me. A right wing (mostly),
  2. Inconceivable mentioned his HOA in another thread. As many people know, I am not a fan of HOAs. (to put it mildly) Here is the best thing I have ever seen about HOAs and why I am against them.
  3. I did say I could be wrong, but am I correct that the county is on the hook for basically everything? I will agree it is a win-win, maybe, when I see the business plan. Keep in mind I am not saying no commercialization. But I am saying, it has to make sense.
  4. I was 100% joking. Heck, I met my wife when she moved to Paulding from Coweta county. She was born and raised in Colorado, so I am happy to see most people move here.
  5. I doubt that. The best that I can understand, the county gave them a sweetheart deal. Twenty years with an option for twenty more and from what I understand, the county is on the hook if things don't work out. I could be wrong, but that is my understanding. Why would you leave if you aren't responsible for anything?
  6. Planes can even crash on land and not be found. Here is an example of a plane that crashed in 1947 and was not found, even though they searched, until pieces of the plane began to emerge from the glacier in 1998. From Wiki: See link for the rest of the story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1947_BSAA_Avro_Lancastrian_Star_Dust_accident Star Dust (registration G-AGWH) was a British South American Airways (BSAA) Avro Lancastrian airliner which crashed into MountTupungato in the Argentine Andes on 2 August 1947, during a flight from Buenos Aires to Santiago, Chile. A comprehensive sear
  7. If we are going to talk conspiracies, then I know what happened. The pro-airport people diverted it to the Silver Comet airport, but the anti-airport people wouldn't let it land. So it is just sitting in the tunnels waiting for this deal to get settled. (I hear they are getting low on nuts, can we send them some, we have plenty here)
  8. You don't live in Paulding?? Wow. The next thing we will find out, you ain't even from GA. You are....aren't you?? :sigh: :muttering under breath: "dangforeignerscominghereandpostingandlivingandeatingmyfood, clogginguptheroadsandbringingthemhightoned ideas, likeindoortoiletsandsuch"
  9. How about going BACK to what did work? Isn't that a smart thing to do? When you go down a road and find that it doesn't get you to your destination, do you just keep going on or do you go back to where you made the wrong turn and go in the right direction. Never mind, I think I know, tax the people to build a new road to go from where you are to where you want to be.
  10. If we are going to talk conspiracies, then I know what happened. The pro-airport people diverted it to the Silver Comet airport, but the anti-airport people wouldn't let it land. So it is just circling around above Pauling county, waiting for this thing to be settled. (I hear they are getting low on nuts, can we send them some, we have plenty here)
  11. I do not discount anything. There have been too many documented stories about reincarnation to just say, nahhhh. I also do not see an issue with the Christian belief system and reincarnation. Beside, it explains why the wife ended up with me. She did something real bad in a past life.
  12. And to think, my mother and her 11 brothers and sisters were born at home. How did they ever do it without the government helping?
  13. Hmmmm, let me see if I understand. Home burglaries are rampant in my county, I decide to put in home security system to protect me and my family's well being, as well as my property. I am explaining this to my friend, who's response is, "You can thank the security company for costing you all that extra money." My reply, "No, I blame the people who are breaking into homes and stealing things, for causing me to have to get a security system." I guess there are always two ways to look at a situation.
  14. My brother was born at Kennestone. (he didn't get a plaque)
  15. Hickory Hut across from the old Paulding hospital. Don't let the looks of the place fool you. Tell William and/or Jeff, I said hey and that I sent you, but use my real name. (it won't get you a discount or better service or more food...but I like to say hey to my friends) Uhhhh, I did enough to cover for you and being arrested ain't all it's cracked up to be. I got other stories, but this isn't the time or the place. (I don't think the time or place exists) They lost your luggage twice, huh.
  16. Sorry to hear that, I think you should be able to find someone to handle it for $400 or less. I had all my stuff written out and just needed the lawyer to make it legal like. Cost me $350, but that was in 1996.
  17. Uhhh, is she married? I'm thinking of trading the wife in for another model. Never mind, I asked and the wife said I couldn't.....well.....that isn't exactly what she said.....but that was what she meant. (I have to go now and sleep in the garage) (Just for the record, I am the man of the house and I sleep wherever I want...tonight I want to sleep in the garage)
  18. I didn't even have to go to college to have those days. But I was self taught on things not to be proud of. Now that is rough, but luckily there were plenty of people to help me along the way. "Go on....do it! I dare you!"
  19. What about New Zealand? There's a country that a mad troop of Boy Scouts in a raft could whip in a fight.
  20. Nah, he's new to Paulding, he probably don't even know where to get a good BBQ sandwich, much less know who's who in the political arena. But he seems to be a good fellow. (even if he is a Falcon fan ) (BB, he knows I am kidding him, but he is new to the county)
  21. He's not as bad as tries to make us believe, is he?
