  1. Not to take away from this missing man, but along the lines of being followed, this is a true story. A friend of mine's wife called one night when we were playing cards. She was at the grocery store and she said she was being stalked by some guy. She went down an aisle, he went down the same aisle behind her. She went up the next aisle, there he came up the next aisle. He had been doing this for several aisles. My friend told his wife to skip two aisles and see what happened. Good news! It through him off her track.
  2. If he was my family member, I would appreciate your posting it.
  3. I have no idea what may have happened to this man, but I hope he is found safe and soon. My first thought was that he was having some type of medical or mental issue and was "seeing" these men following him. I personally know of a couple of cases where the person who "saw" people following them did strange things to try and loose the people "following" them. In both cases they were afraid to go home, because then "they" would know where they lived. Regardless, it sounds as if he is in some type of distress and I hope he is found safe and soon.
  4. Watching what? Is she nekked again?
  5. Funny, I do those things also, but you won't find any pot or meth here. But I will bet you your pink slip against mine, that the odds go up dramatically that a meth user is also a pot user. It's ok, you guys want to be pot heads, I'm all for you. Just don't say it doesn't cause problems. ETA, just re-read this, it came out a little more.....I'm tired and can't think of the word...harsher, maybe, than I meant it to be.
  6. "They also allegedly found a substance that tested positive for meth at the scene," How can that be? I have been told that smoking pot does not lead to using other drugs.
  7. I say beat your wife once a week, if you don't know what for, she will. (old Chinese proverb)
  8. Right, like the wife is going to keep me around for another year. I was joking of course about the invite, but I would have came if I had known. They sounded (and that is meant in a good way) like they were some really good one. If I had taken the time to walk outside, which I thought about doing, but it was at least 12' to the door and my butt was stuck to the couch pretty good, I would have seen where they were coming from and probably could have watched from the driveway. They really did sound like it was a good show.
  9. Am I Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee? If I get a choice, can I be Tweedle Dee? I don't mind being Tweedle Dum, but Tweedle Dee just has a nice ring to it. But you got to admit, that guy is rocking the hair.
  10. I'm guessing our invitation was lost in the mail.
  11. I don't think the residents at the cemetery will be bothered by fireworks. But I could be wrong, my mother says she could never be buried in one of those slide in the drawer type of plots, she says she would get claustrophobic.
  12. Illegal Fireworks Tonight, what's being done? In my neighborhood they are doing all they can. Unless someone starts firing off a cannon, I'm not sure they can shoot off anymore illegal fireworks than they are. Dogs are going crazy, wife's been crazy and I'm thinking of joining the parade.
  13. I have no input except for get well wishes for your puppy.
  14. Because they intend to take over the country. Heck, they say so. And I give them credit, it appears they are doing a pretty good job.
  15. In my opinion part of our character is not determined by if we make a mistake, but rather how and what we do after we make our mistake. I was always told, you will make mistakes, if you make a mistake, admit your mistake and try and make the situation as right as you can. Good job young lady. I hope I can remember this stuff when I make my next mistake, which if the past is any indicator of future behavior and since I have been awake for 1 1/2 hrs, that means that I am 30 minutes over due. (but don't tell the wife, she will me back on schedule in a flash)
  16. There is no love for poor stradial tonight.
  17. I haven't read one post in this thread, I just wanted to say I found it really great (and I am being serious) that there are 29 posts about potato salad. Love a good potato salad. Now I will go back and read all the good recipes.
  18. Well, this was really a joke thread, but ok. I thought the picture of Yosemite Sam was a sure give away.
  19. Sorry, my phone doesn't have a camera, but I do have an old Polaroid camera and this past weekend I did find a pack of film and some flash bulbs for it. Send me your address, not e-mail, I mean postal, and I will see if the film is still good and send you some pics. (now that's old school)
  20. 30K isn't much money today, but they did get around 20K in donations and the Home Depot charity helped oit. Still, it doesn't appear that money was the motive. I guess at this point the motive appears to be, tired of being married with children and wanting the single life with these naked bosom picture sending women. (where do you run across these women?)
  21. Where do they find these women that want to get a picture of their wing wang? If I had a nickle for every time I heard my wife say, "Put that thing away, no one wants to see that.", I could retire.
