The wife counts here time between car accidents in both months and years. Example: I haven't had an accident in 2 yrs and 3 months. Of course, she doesn't consider the following accidents: backing into a tree, a mailbox....well anything that isn't another vehicle (all of which she has backed into in the past two years); scrubbing the back panel of the car against a pole (which she has done in the past few months); hitting the side of a garage; running over curbs, street signs of any type, sidewalks or anything that isn't living (again, some of which she does on a fairly regular basis).
