Uhhhh, just curious....no particular reason for asking....but......did he say what kind of pharmaceuticals? If it's pain killers, my number is......never mind, I'll send you a PM.

Don't worry, it has a good ending. "You want some of this?" "I'll give you the old one two!" "Look, your shoe's untied."

What in the name of heaven does a pool need a remote control for?? It's freaking water in a concrete hole in the ground! :sigh: I am worried about y'all.
-
I'm sick and tired of hearing about you fancy people with your pools, your pool heaters, your decks, your electricity, your fancy TVs with remote controls, your houses with roofs and windows. "Ohhhh, we have food and a refrigerator. Ain't we special?" "At night, we just turn on our lights to see." Enough with all the fancy stuff. Can I come swim?

Something light and fun? Let's run this up the old flagpole and see who salutes. What TV show(s) or movie(s) best represents your life? I have two TV shows. Dharma and Greg Because I am a uptight (in a lot of ways), conservative guy, married to a free thinking, free wheeling, liberal gal. Married with Children Because like Al Bundy, my family quite often just ignores what I say and quite often I say outrageous things.

James Garner has gone on ahead at 86

I think Garner was from the old school, where you respected the other person's right to their beliefs and didn't let that affect the work. There are many examples of this with the older (or what I call, real) actors. John Wayne, who was a major right winger, acted with Lauren Bacall twice and Kate Hepburn once. Both ladies who were big time liberals. Both ladies had nothing but positive things to say about the Duke, as did he about them. I think it has something to do with what is called.....class. -

Now that, I didn't know. A pothead huh. His being a pot user or a liberal doesn't affect my appreciation of his acting skills. It is only when celebrities start thinking that because they are "famous", they suddenly have some special knowledge and should share it with the world, that it bothers me. Garner, to my knowledge, was never that way. -

I don't know much, but there are two things I know something about. Movies/actors (older movies and actors) and crime/criminals. I have put off reading Garner's autobiography, but guess I will soon. He was also a big liberal, but was never obnoxious about it. Garner spoke about getting wounded with Carson a few times. He always said he was shot in the butt. I knew he got a Purple Heart, but didn't know about the one in the 80's. -
P.comers Wonder Why I Like Pubby, And Side With Him Most
cookies are sweet replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Not that anyone cares, not that it means anything, but here is my two cents worth on pubby and TP. First, I like pubby as a person. I had been told be a close friend (Countyline) who knows pubby well, that I would like him if I ever met him. I was sure my friend was wrong and went into my first meeting with pubby prepared to come away saying, I knew I wouldn't like him and I was right. But, I found myself liking the man. I have always enjoyed my time spent with him and our conversations. Do we disagree on things? Yes. But we do so politely and in fun. Second, about TP and his inv -

Good actor, good person, good American. He fought in Korea and received the Purple Heart. He was wounded more than once and, if I am not mistaken, he was once shot in the butt by "friendly fire". (I know he was shot in the butt, but am unsure exactly by who) His characters often referred to being shot in the butt in his later roles. -
Texans win Five Year Battle with the DMV

Sadly, the once proud flag of Stars and Bars is more associated with racism and hatred than it is the proud brave men who followed her into battle. It is a shame, but it is true. I think it is time to let that flag have some rest and only be flown in historical settings. If you wish to fly it, display it, more power to ya, but the governments should perhaps get out of the stars and bars business. -
Perhaps they agree with the idea that the federal government should not have so much power over the state government. Just a thought.

On of the best of the worst movies ever made, Troll 2. What makes this bad movie so great? Well, for one thing there never was a Troll 1 movie and for another, there are no trolls in the movie. Not to mention the bad acting, the lead character is played by a TX dentist, and the problems with the script and the continuity. This is a movie that Ed Wood could have made. If you get the chance to see it, do so. It is one of the top best/worst movies of all time.

Is sitting on a couch naked, eating pork rinds and watching Dr. Phil a naked redneck thing? I also chew tobacco if that helps.

Uhhh ohhhh, fish go wee wee in lake water.

Absolutely!!! Years ago the ex and I rented a home with a fire hydrant on the corner or the property. Once a month the fire department came by and flushed the hydrant. We couldn't use the water for almost the entire day. Finally after calling and calling to complain, one morning after the flushed the hydrant, which always seemed to be on a Saturday morning, I filled a quart jar with water from the kitchen sink and took it to the fire department. The water was a brown as brown could be. By the time I got there the dirt had settled on the bottom and was 1/4" thick. I took it in showed

Thank you, the wife and I loved it. I can't watch that show.....I am afraid of naked people. I haven't seen Povich or Springer (at least since his 1st year), but I guess there is a little (or more than a little ??) white trash in me.

I love the Deadliest Catch, I haven't missed an episode since it started. I even know why Wild Bill is called Wild Bill. (ok, I have missed a few of the before the catch shows) As far as Phil goes....it's too late. I have a thing for young good looking crazy women and he has them on by the boatload.
