Blackadder was also a good un. Of course almost anything Rowan Atkinson is in (Mr. Bean) is good.

I was just divorced and I watched Red Dwarf every Sat night also. In fact, just because of Red Dwarf, I gave to the PBS pledge drive, as soon as I did, they cancelled Red Dwarf. I haven't donated since.

I read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the follow up books many years ago. They are among my books that I read every 8-10 years, just because I enjoy them so. If you have never read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and rest of Douglas Adams's books on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I strongly recommend you do so, they are just plain fun. My suggestion is that when you read them, don't try and figure stuff out, don't think too much, treat them like a roller coaster ride, just hang on and enjoy it. Here are just a few, very few, quotes from The Hitchhiker's Guide

What is your favorite BBC TV show? My is Red Dwarf. I liked it so much that I had the wife order the entire series off Amazon for me. It was the 1st thing I ever bought from Amazon. Very briefly, it takes place far in the future where the main characters are Dave Lister, the last known human alive, and Arnold Rimmer, a hologram of Lister's dead bunkmate. The other regular characters are Cat, a lifeform which evolved from the descendants of Lister's pregnant pet cat Frankenstein; Holly, Red Dwarf's computer; Kryten, a service mechanoid. Here are some scenes, although these w

Shhhhhh, don't mess with their heads. There was actually very little plane debris because of the extremely high temps created by the jet fuel, but you are correct there was some. There is a picture of a lady walking by part of an engine, but most of what they found wouldn't obvious as plane parts to the average person. -

Yes, I do. Although I would not put I Dream of Jeannie in that group, but that is just a personal preference. My kid likes it. -
I try and occasionally post what I think may be fun stuff, but my idea of fun may not be others.

Jessie Ventura looked into part of this on his TV show Conspiracy Theory. He checked into the story that a plane did not hit the Pentegon and that a "death ray" brought down the twin towers. He thought there was a conspiracy in both cases..............of course he also thought there were conspiracies in these areas: Brain Invaders Ventura interviews a group of so-called "targeted individuals" (or "TIs") – people who claim that they are being manipulated and tortured by mind-control signals after they have spoken out against the government. He further looks into the technology that co -

British TV has had some really good stuff. A few of my favorites: Red Dwarf (funny, funny, funny) Are You Being Served? (got a little old near the end, but that is common on TV show) Keeping up Appearances (Patricia Routledge did such a great job playing a snobbish social climber, that at times, I found her hard to watch, she was that good) There are many more, but these are don't miss shows. -
What does this latest vote mean to the citizens committee that was established to look at the airport situtaion and report to the BoC? Is that committee now a lame duck committee? I don't know, just asking.

Dang these people who want to take their time and do things correctly. Don't they know we got money to be made? ETA: I wonder how much animosity would be relived if Blake was replaced? ETA: ETA: I am willing to not do the job for half the money it appears he isn't doing the job for. -
When the government started shipping illegal kids to various states across the country, some said that we would start seeing new strains of viruses that are more common in Central America and South America and not already here in the US. I don't know that this is the case, but I have heard that this new virus is not unknown in Central and South America.

I am sure you saw this on the news. Didn't some people predict this happening? http://abcnews.go.com/Health/unidentified-respiratory-virus-hit-kids-country/story?id=25334106

Do You Think This Is A Hate Crime or Not?
cookies are sweet replied to Foxmeister's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I know this is side stepping your question. I do not agree with anything being labeled a "hate crime", never have. If I hit you in the head until you are dead because: 1. You are my ex and you left me 2. I want your money 3. I just want to hurt someone (yes, it happens, a lot) 4. I raped you and don't want you to tell 5. I don't like your religion, color, gender or anything else Is any of these deserving of worse punishment than the other? Yes, there may be additional charges for other crimes committed while or before I killed you, but each person is equally dead. Plus, a "hate -

That cat would be too high maintenance for me. -
When I get a call from a telemarketer or a scam artist, if I am not in the middle of something I can't stop, I love to screw with them. Just pretend to be a dumb ole redneck, with a country accent. (ok, a dumber redneck than I am, with a worse country accent than I already have) I had one of those Microsoft scammers call me today. It was the old, "Something is wrong with your computer" scam. After her having a hard time understanding me and me "having a hard time" understanding what she wanted me to do, I told her, "I don't ever mess that computer, that is the wife's computer. She don'

We have a Rodeo-Equestrian Facility? Where in the heck is that located and when was it built? Let me see if I got this straight. We have: 1. A Film Studio that is used rarely? 2. A Rodeo-Equestrian Facility that is never used? 3. A General Aviation Airport that is barely used? If this is correct, then perhaps our elected official's time and efforts would be better served to work on getting these 3 facilities operating at a level that is self sustaining instead of trying to create an bigger issue with the current airport. Did we ever have a rodeo here? How did that go? -
Ohhhh GREAT, now they will see this and.....yep, here comes the bridge.

You may wish to reread what I posted. I never said that. But had I said that, you would be correct.

It's rough being an NFL superstar...hit the wife, drag the wife... Him. She has issues also, she hit him at least twice that I saw, but it is still him. Funny how the crack NFL investigating team missed this video when they investigated this the 1st time. But then again, they investigated Mike Vick and gave him a clean bill of health right before he was busted.
