I don't know about the other places, but I love Cabo San Lucas. The people are very nice and we felt safe the whole time. We stayed at Playa Grande Resort: http://www.playa-grande-cabo.com/ and loved it. It was just up the hill from the marina. We walked everywhere, and spent a lot of time at the marina. You can only swim at one beach. Now, that was in 2007, and I don't know if some of the drug violence has spilled over there or not yet. I hope not. It's a wonderful place.

I learned that when I am 97 I will say whatever I want to people I got a salad at Ruby Tuesday and while piling on pasta salad, fruit salad, and bean & corn salad, the old man behind me said, "Hey now! You're gonna get fat! A-heeeheeeheee" It cracked me up. I just laughed, told him I was sorry, I was done and out of his way. Just after that I overheard him tell the server he was 97. What a sweet man He made my day.

You're cracking me up! LOL Well, in Cabo, you MUST go eat at Mi Casa - the food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is unbeatable! It's in the oldest building in Cabo and only part of it has a roof. The decor is amazingl; I bought one of their Catrina statues and it is on my mantel. OH! And the bill fishing is the best in the world there. Between the two of us, we caught 8 striped marlin and 25 mahi mahi (It's called dorado there), one shark, and some other stuff. I saw a goup of marlin taildance on the water - it was breathtaking. LOL This week I have been sooooo tired. Every day this week I have had to put my head on my desk and sleep. As soon as I have gotten home I crawled in bed with the laptop and I'm asleep no later than 10, and that is after forcing myself to stay awake. I have never felt this exhausted. Yes. I didn't see the shpw, but my mom e-mailed me a clip of the dance. Not her break down or anything, but just the performance on stage. I cried at work like a little baby. I miss him so much. Heck, I got choked up when he said, "Pain don't hurt" in Roadhouse the other night. lol

You've been a non-smoker longer than I have, but all of this is so true. But, while you looked at each cig as a day of your life to help you quit, I have to admit I took a much more vain approach. I looked at and traced the emerging smoke lines around my mouth. I am not ready to look older yet. JJ, she is right.
