You and me both. I never realized how complex pie could be.

I'm no expert but I do believe a cheesecake is a cake, as it has no pie crust top. Which is why I love it.

People think I'm crazy because I don't like pie. Not dessert pies anyway. I made a really good jambalaya pot pie a while back.

Well now it'll be a lot easier for The "pretenders" to go in the wrong restroom. Now any Tom Dick or Harry can claim to be a trans man and go into the women's restroom because who's going to check? This law has nothing to do with protection of anyone. There are already family restrooms all over the country which allow men and women at the same time. :gasp: I haven't heard of any problems resulting from those types of restrooms.

It's certainly going to raise some eyebrows when a trans man walks into the ladies room. Who's going to check their anatomy just to make sure?

The recipe I use calls for feta. I love Feta. He didn't even notice!

I used to really like Hamburger Helper cheesy hash browns. I don't think they sell it anymore. I made O'Charley's copycat pecan crusted chicken salad. I forgot to buy feta cheese and I used crumbled blue cheese instead. My husband doesn't really like blue cheese and now I feel a little guilty. Fingers crossed he won't notice!! I use the Panera balsamic vinaigrette that they sell in the produce section for the dressing. I love that stuff. I don't typically use store-bought salad dressing but I make an exception for this salad.

Grilled pork chops, sauteed spinach mushrooms and caramelized onions in a creamy Parmesan sauce,roasted rosemary fingerling potatoes and a baguette.

For tonight I made corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot. Store-bought mashed potatoes and pretzel rolls on the side. When I made my grocery list I was under the impression that my daughter had a dentist appointment this afternoon but it got rescheduled. That's my excuse for the store bought mashed potatoes. Of course, I did roast some garlic to fancy them up a bit.

#disabledlivesmatter It should be up to the individual family. However, having a child with a disability or condition is not the end of the world. In fact for some, it changes their world for the better. A life is a life regardless of its challenges.

Shredded beef enchiladas and a Southwest chopped salad with homemade Chipotle dressing. I bought one of those pork loins on sale at Kroger also. I cut 4 pork chops off of it to grill this week and I'm going to be roasting the rest of it this weekend. I plan to make Cubans with The Leftovers on Monday. Great minds and all that jazz. Great to see you back and cooking.

The crossroads Kroger seems to be up to something. They had all of their toy/baby suupply section on clearance. I stocked up on Play-Doh. I don't envy people who are forced to shop at the 278 / 61 Kroger. Every time I've ever been there it's a madhouse.
