  1. News. If you want to make it political, then you start your own topic over there with those people.
  2. Why? This is nothing to do with politics but about the news of a disaster and what we do with it now.
  3. Keep those gas prices low so we can drives those mini homes on wheels. How are those petition efforts coming along now? Spill, Baby, Spill! Amazing what somebody can find using the search feature. Let's discuss this as a news event and the disaster it truly is. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/157039-drill-here-drill-now-pay-less/page__p__2036752 http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/161286-you-cant-fuel-all-of-the-people-all-of-the-time/ http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/156865-stop-push-to-open-artic-oil-reserves/page__hl__%22coast%22__fromsearch__1
  4. What about personal responsibility? Why do we need Big Brother telling us what is good for everyone? Don't we already have laws on the books now that says negligence that causes an accident is a crime? Why waste money and time on a new law when the existing laws already cover this? The law abiding citizens are already doing the right thing and the people that are texting while driving will still do it. Does anybody else not see the glaring ideological problem here?
  5. Typical arrogant Americans who always think we can't possibly learn from anybody else.
  6. Can't go this Saturday and would like to see if somebody else wants these great tickets! All 6 tickets, left table, plus 3 parking passes. I'll let them go for $200 OBO. Really good music! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
  7. What? What the hell is going on around here? I get attacked constantly by this BS who keeps harrassing me, saying I'm a guy, that I'm somebody else, and all sorts of things. Then when I have enough and call him out for what he is, I get warned? Unbelievable.
  8. Please be specific and show what part your post I referenced. I didn't. I said you're not objective, period. That's just my opinion and you're entitled to your's.
  9. Why? Srsly. Why? Why do you insist on saying I'm a guy? I've asked you several times to stop but you just can't help [yourself] can you?
  10. I'm slow, I guess, but what's the hell-o hole?
  11. Swing and a miss! There are reasonable limits such as laws against slander, liable, lying in some cases, and yelling fire in a crowded theater. There are no restrictions on content of protest as long as it is done on public property and all reasonable permits are obtained. If they can stop protests at a funeral or move them off where nobody can see them, that squelches the protest because it can't be heard. That has the same effect as stopping the protest. If we can stop these crazy people then we can stop tax protestors, political protests and all other protests.
  12. I'm going to call my therapist because I obviously have a problem if you agree with me.
  13. If we can write a law to restrict their protest at funerals, the next law can restrict your protest at a Tea Party Rally. Freedom of Speech is only there to protect speech that is unpopular. Popular speech doesn't need protecting. These people are crazy as hell but they have the same right to protest as people who protest Obama or taxes or Viet Nam or anything else.
  14. Rarely dream, that I remember, anyway.
  15. Can't we just stock up before Sunday gets here? It's just one day. I see you guys' point but it is just one day. I'm just not convinced it is such a bad idea. Too old fashioned, I guess. Then again, this might be a religious thing and if that is the case, it is wrong, IMHO.
  16. How does cutting the spending like the RepubliSINs want become a Democrat conspiracy?
  17. The article says the cuts in Medicare are because of the economy. The budget can't fund Medicare when there are cuts. So the payment goes down just like when an insurance company only pays a certain amount. Same behaviour. http://money.cnn.com/2010/03/01/news/economy/medicare_cuts_rates_consumer_impact/index.htm?postversion=2010030211 Physicians say they are shunning Medicare because they are tired of dealing with the yearly threat of a payment cut under federal law requiring that reimbursement rates be adjusted annually based on a formula tied to the health of the economy.
