True Blood is the bestest!!! Game of Thrones runs a close second. The one in TB who is really getting on my nerves though is Crystal! Also..I HOPE HOPE HOPE they do not cut out the shower scene between Eric and Sookie from the book.OMG!!! Had to fan myself there for a moment..LOL. I actually contemplated changing my name to Sookie after the "You are MINE!" from Eric in the first episode this season..LOL. Anyway..I can't say much more without it being a spoiler for now..Give people a bit of time to catch the heck up!!!

I soooooooooooooo know that feeling. It was hard to send mine off to boot camp. It was even harder to send him off to combat training. I still haven't gone into his room from the last goodbye and it has been a month. (hope nothing is growing in there!) Anyway, it is a proud yet terrible feeling sending them off for god knows how long. My thoughts are with you and your wife and my prayers. Thank you both for allowing him to serve this great nation. Ok..gotta go now cause I am crying.

Congrats to you and your new Marine. I know you are very proud of him. My son leaves for Marine bootcamp on Feb.7. I'm proud, nervous and sad about but, I know he will do well. Enjoy the 10 days with your son.

My son leaves in Febuary for Paris Island. As a mom of a single child this is going to be hard to let him go but, his father and I could not be more proud of our soon to be U.S. Marine. And yes..LadyRaider you read correctly..our lil chunky monkey is going to become a Marine.

Please don't forget the lunch ladies either. Some of the older kitchens don't have ANY air..and let me tell you, even with air...standing in front of 6 super ovens it gets hotter than you know where. Then standing over the steam table to serve all the kids is ALMOST unbearable. I'm soooo looking foward to even a small break in this terrible heat.
