I will be depending on SOLO for all of my NANA advice!! Those 2 are my rock and I love them very much!!!! I will definitely be at the next coffee get together. Kat and Blake came over for dinner so I had too much to do here.

Kat is right next to me. I am forbidden to buy anything til Nov.1 as that will be the start of her 2nd trimester. THEN THE SHOPPING IS ON!!!

When you start the tour, you get a person and you walk through their stay. Some make it, some don't. The pure visuals are enough to stop your heart and are breath taking. It is very hard to describe that specific memorial. Moving just doesn't seem fit. It is so much more than that.

I love boiled peanuts. SOLO makes some EXCELLENT ones. KRD has lived in the south his whole life (grew up in VA) and has never liked them. Good for me, though. I don't have to share!!

The Holocaust Museum is ... nothing can really describe it. As far as I concerned, it is a must visit. The mall is nice and I was especially moved by the Korean War memorial. My FIL received the Purple Heart and the Silver Star fighting that war. When we showed him the pics we took- he wept. There is no way you can see all the Smithsonian in one weekend. As said before= pick a few that interest at least one of you. Air and Space are a bit on the boring side to me- but it is a wonderful museum. Be safe.
