I'm just glad it stopped running and didn't have a flat tire. It would have been embarrassing for the president of the United States limo to have kept driving down the shoulder of the freeway on the rim with the emergency flashers on.

Cobb Voters...don't forget to VOTE TUESDAY!
feelip replied to justgettingby's topic in RECENT TOPICS
So I will no longer do business in Cobb, which is easier to get to than Paulding. But I expect we will get a lot of shoppers out of Cobb. Good move Cobb. It must have been for the chirren. -
I honestly couldn't care less about this law as it doesn't affect me either way. But I do remember when I couldn't buy a part for my vehicle on Sunday that I needed so I could get to work on Monday morning, because of the Blue Laws.

My link My Springer has be blind since he was 5 months old and he also fetches balls, goes for runs in the pasture, swims in the pond and will whip the other dogs if they mess with his food,.

Don't buy the kind you can hear. Buy a Honda. I have one that can power electronics without damaging them. All we care about is keeping our cell phones charged and keeping the TV and sound system powered up. I can sit it 25 feet from the door and you can't hear it running.

I respect anyone's spiritual experience. I've always wondered why some religious folks feel it is their duty to control everyone.

DOH! I just remembered sumthin.

Sang it Jonny. Buy a generator and your power hardly ever goes out.

That appeared to be a classic microburst. Everything was sitting out west of us and suddenly it got legs and took off east at 50+ mph.

Glen just broke out the appendage.

I think Glen is about to have an "O".

Glen Burns is a drama queen. I re-routed my wife so she would miss the certain hail from the storm that was headed to Powder Springs and now it's headed for right where she went to miss it. He needs to get his sheeze together.

Is this county wide? Exactly what is it we are voting for (or against)?

I believe the chicken coop thread is the only thread TP hasn't posted that freakin pie chart in.

I agree. At the end of the day, success isn't measured in dollars and cents.

I was a project manager for one of the largest sub-contractors in the world (at that time). I had 30 guys working for me and our typical work week was 60 to 84 hours. I became project manager at 25, which made me the youngest PM the company had put in that position.

If that place (Briar Patch) and Johnny's can survive, I figure I could be a multimillionaire if I ever started selling my BBQ pork and beef brisket.
-
You know you can sell these trees, right? Don't expect a huge amount, but you should be able to get enough for them to be able to pay someone to grind the stumps. There is a guy I used that lives in Taylorsville (I think). If I remember his name I'll post it. Just don't let someone rip you off.

I hope he makes me eat crow. I have been a fan for 47 years with the exception of the Vick years. I have never seen one of these old backs change and have a breakout career.

Hey buddy. A former buddy of mine that happened to be a pastor had some moments of extreme wisdom (unfortunately they were followed by classic moments of Alabama dumbass). One of these thoughts that have always stuck with me is"in the meanest man there is a little bit of good, and in the best of men there is a little bit of bad."

I used to do a lot of work for Sacred Heart when Fr. Morris was there. He was a great guy. Went to bat for me one day when an over-zealous Atlanta cop wrote me four tickets while I was driving a piece of equipment to the front of the church. Excuse my earlier ignorant comments. I really dislike all the media hype, but at least you guys will wave when you're coming out of the liquor store.

We sign a 29 year old running back for 3 years. I guess we just want to HOST a Super Bowl.

If you were at a concert in the 70's you had just given up buying it (unless you could hold your breath for two or three hours).
-
I used to watch Pistol Pete Maravich play basketball in the Omni in the 70's. Talk about getting in the "way back" machine.

Far Out. That phrase was coined by a hippie that passed an unlit joint to his buddy.
