Have you listened to the tapes? The 911 operator didn't tell him to not follow him. The operator said they didn't need him to do that. That wasn't for Trayvon's safety, that was for Zimmerman's safety. Although I think it has been somewhat established that Zimmerman actually did stop following him and was returning to his truck when Trayvon attacked him. This was no sweet and innocent little kid. This was a 17 year old punk that would have beaten Zimmerman senseless had he not shot him.

Let me just go ahead and ask the question that I have been needing to ask. What is Tony Crowe's level of education? What kind of business history does he have? Is he capable of going to the state capitol and carrying on an intelligent conversation with state officials? Will he lead Paulding County into the future or will he set us back 20 years? I'm still not committed to either candidate and would really like to have some answers.

A bigger issue would be why didn't he just articulate his intentions in lieu of turning into an animal and attacking. I think this is where the protestor's efforts could actually work to keep this from happening in the future.

Nothing to do with bigotry. Has to do with voicing an opinion (aka 1st amendment). You are trying to make a case by using all the little bits and pieces. But when you connect the dots (or Skittles as the case may be) it comes down to Trayvon inflicting injury on Zimmerman. Trayvon had skinned knuckles, Zimmerman didn't. So unless you are saying Zimmerman head butted Tray tray in the fist,your story isn't adding up.

I think it is a stretch to say "Zimmerman was instructed to go back to his truck." What you need to understand is where the line of legality was crossed and by whom it was crossed. As far as I can see Mr. Zimmerman never broke a law.

I'm guessing you and a few others are just playing dumb about this, but you don't have to have an actual weapon to commit an assault. And if you are assaulted (even with fists) it is perfectly legal to use deadly force to stop the assailant (which in this case was Sweet Trayvon).
