  1. I agree. Rodgers and Morrison will be way better than what we have presently holding those offices.
  2. The state and county tax is new news. What a piece of work this woman is.
  3. Competition drives price more than tax.
  4. Well maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Paulette IS qualified.
  5. Well, that makes it okay for Bozo not to pay her taxes.
  6. Paulette Braddock has a hearing upcoming due to some back taxes. Not sure if the $300,000 the judge said she had to pay Xerox is part of the eligibility hearing or not. She is running for House District 19 representative. Bill Carruth has already had a hearing bot apparently the outcome is not being released. Bill has apparently forgotten where he lives. He is running for Senate District 31. The easy answer to both of these is to vote for Melissa Morrison for House 19 and J.K. Rodgers for Senate 31. As long as Braddock or Heath aren't re-elected we will be okay. If you are
  7. I'm betting he has told a bigger lie than that today.
  8. District 19 and District 31. If you are in either of these there is a possibility that one of the candidates could be disqualified. Your voter registration card will have your senate and house Districts listed.
  9. Haralson. I think he was hatched there.
  10. Alright. But when you wake up dead I'm going to tell you I told you so.
  11. WTF has Heath done that makes him worthy of my vote?
  12. If you're waking up with a headache there is a chance that it is sleep apnea. You ever had a sleep study? CPAPs are wonderful. They have a built in humidifier. I have had one for two years and I have had one headache since getting it. The sleep studies are painless, but then so is dying in your sleep.
  13. Law or not, the 400 toll was supposed to have ended in 2010. Sonny Perdue and the GA Legislature decided to keep it in place to fund other projects on 400. Problem is that the funds aren't well managed so those quarters might be funding roads in rural south Georgia. More than likely the same mismanagement will be used on the TSPOLST and we will be paying our 1% 14% to put some really nice roads in the county of the politicians that last kissed the governor's ass for him. Do you know what time is the right time to vote yourself a tax increase? NEVER!
  14. From what I read the NAACP is in on it because they want a MARTA line to extend to Stonecrest Mall in Conyers. If I were black I think that would be rather insulting.
  15. I'm really not trying to pick on you, but when I say "your industry" I am including Yancey and all their mechanics, truck drivers, janitors as well as CWs and Vulcans. Any and all of the people whose livelihood is dependent on road construction. But just so I understand.....If we all pay 1% more for everything we buy, that is going to make the economy better? Because from where I am sitting it just looks like I am going to be paying 1% more for everything I buy.
  16. Do you have a link to support your math? Here is the problem with your fantasy. The money is coming from the taxpayers again. We are not doing anything to create "new" money, we are simply re-routing the same money to a specific industry. BTW, I don't piss my money away on Starbucks and I don't need some bonehead politician with the IQ od Paulette Braddock pissing away my money on a road. There is an old saying, MANAGE THE PENNIES AND THE DOLLARS WILL TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES.
  17. Why should there be a special tax just to support your industry? First of all, they know that this is a pipe dream and these projects, even if they were completed by 2023, would not solve the traffic problems. Secondly, their advertisements are an insult to my intelligence. It is obvious that a lot of money is being spent to misrepresent the TSPLOST. And large sums are spent for one reason only. Someone stands to make a huge return on their investment. Yancey Brothers, Vulcan, CW Mathews???? If a group of people are begging for taxpayer money I find it hard to differentiate on
  18. Now that is a full spectrum of EXTREMIST.
  19. When I was a teenager, Cumberland Mall was a safe place. Even after dark. Not now.
  20. I read that somewhere. I could be wrong. (Wouldn't be the first time)
  21. Yes. And I'm good with that. Beats the alternative.
  22. I read that Thursday is the only day they have the bits and pieces. That's what I wanted to try.
  23. All of my childhood favorites are dying off. I had no idea he was 95. McHales Navy was one of my favorites.
