The message was passed on but the dog was uncatchable and did not have an owner.

We can't wait to see you!

Our 50 are sometimes annoying!
You'd think the people that lived there would be bothered and bring them in, maybe they've been gone all day so they haven't heard them.
-
Hope you're not our neighbor!

Tomorrow from 11-4 (or 5 if there is still a line), Jennifer's Pet Rescue will be doing Santa pix at the Petsmart in Hiram. Bring your pets, bring your kids, bring you pony... It's $10.95 or $9.95 with your Pet Perks card and $5 of every pix taken goes to us! You get a digital pix in a frame, we print out while you at the register paying.

My 6 year old wants one so bad! Good luck, but I think you have to order them online as of right now.

I truly don't understand the black animal thing. Most of my cats are black (though, granted, they were strays, and I didn't get them at a shelter), and we adopted our black dog (as a puppy) from AHS.
IMO, it's because when you mix this mix with that mix you get black. Thing of it as a color pallet and when you combine too many colors they all turn to black. So it makes black the most common color and when people go into a shelter and see 2 chocolate labs, 2 blonde labs and 10 black labs, statistically the other 2 colors have a much higher chance at being adopted.
(And I too own 2 shaggy black mix breed dogs!)

Some of you may remember the 2 Dachshunds we took in a while back from a p.commer that found the pair at their house. They were covered in ticks, thin, has hairloss, no collars, tags or microchipped, not spayed or neutered etc. (I could go on.) Anyway to make a long story short, after we took them in, did ALL their vet work, which cost us hundreds of dollars, their owners went to the pound to file a lost report and we had done the right thing and filed a found report and we were forced by law to give them back to them for FREE. Not only did we loose all that money, but we had to go against everything we work so hard for and allow them to go back to their far from ideal owners. Their owners actually let us have it for fixing their breeding dogs! She had had sop many babies her uterus was a mess and she would have never made it through another litter.
So this is why we don't take in strays. If we do ever make the occasional exception it's because the finder has had it for quite some time and the finder must sign it over to us as the owner.
And I actually e-mailed you back (from JRogers38@aol.com which is where all our mail comes back from) very promptly with the following message:
Sorry but we can't help because we have no luck in placing black dogs either. Best of luck to you in finding her a safe place!

Despite what people seem to say about us 99% off all our phone messages and e-mails are responsed to quickly. I answer all e-mails and we have volunteer that generously donates her time to responding to the dozens of phone calls we get every day!
Good luck in placing this dog!

The 21st is the last day, at least for the Publix @ New Hope where I called this AM -- yea I didn't miss the cut off date!
-
We should be there & looking forward to it!
-
I vote don't do it...coming from the one who went with all her friends to get them...held their hand while the tears flowed...and to this day is tat-less!~
-
You should be able to take her to a vet, with no exam, and simply pay for the Rabies sheeze, which is about $14. They would take her back and she gets a shot and your in and out in a few minutes. Then you can take her to any groomer since she'll have a valid Rabies, which is all that is required by law.

HA! Who for?

Someone else be smarter me and find a 12/19 deadline.

18th is what I found online, but nothing was too clear when I googled it.

OMG - it looks like it was today and I forgot all about it until now!

Anyone know the last day to drop off toys?
-
i dont know...both times he did it were around the entertainment center and its on the same level as the litter box
Sometimes they will also not use the box if they have worms, specifically tape worms. How many times have they been dewormed?
-
I think with the amount of time you are away from home that a pair is a definate, but yes it also means 2 litterboxes are a definate. If you have a multi-level home one litterbox is recommended per level (SSH -could this be a problem?).

I don't think clothes really count as a present for children and once read in an etiquite book that it wasn't an appropriate gift for a child. When mine open clothes, they through the clothes down and on to the next thing that will actually bring them joy. After all they don't care if they had no clothes and had to go naked every day. I spent $25 each for my older 2, the 15 month old gets nothing from us, they get enough crap from the rest of the family.

Looks like the sale has ended

LOL I knew you would post in here! What size clothes is she in again?
She is the cutest!
Usually 6 months, but has some 12 month jeans for length with the adjustable waists pulled as tight as they'll go without looking goofy. What size does he wear zoo?
