You could send him a "demand letter" by certified mail, return receipt requested detailing everything (on such and such day he purchased xxxx, paid with check # in the amount of $$$$, you deposited it on, but it was ISF, you called the bank on such and such days, but no funds still, etc.) and giving him "x" amount of days to pay up or you will file a lawsuit that includes filing and attorneys fees for him being stubbornly litigious. Or if you have an attorney "friend", see if they can do it for you. Nothing like a scary letter on attorney letterhead to get someone moving.

I think he was killed in that wreck on Nebo near McClung earlier this week.

A friend said her co-worker died in this wreck. The road was closed for over an hour. It's a terrible section of road.
