Strong suspicion about friend who was "let go" after 6 months of Short Term Disability. Dr. would not sign a release to go back to work. Therefore, he lost severance pay after 21 years of service. This was not workman's comp; just a personal injury. They told him if he signed the medical release, he could get severance. Do you know anyone who will meet and talk with them? Someone honest.

eye dropper is great idea. and small dogs dehydrate very very quickly (per my emergency vet visit a few years ago). Things I have done - make chicken and rice; mostly broth and feed with spoon or hand; add a few tiny bits of chicken. And also canned dog food which dogs love and also supplies moisture.
