I'm so stunned at the ages of these boys. It makes me wonder what they are exposed to at home and with their friends.

I couldn't imagine the torment this child is going through.....and on top of it all, because of her family's culture, her father sees this as her fault. what a terrible terrible story. Has anyone else had any luck contacting someone in paulding? I have left a few messages since yesterday (2 for DYA and 1 for someone else) and no call back. Do they normally call in the evening?

I always answer the door (if it's an adult) with my 100 lb dog....holding her by the collar. they usually say nevermind and go. I'm too weary of who's knocking on my door.

I didn't mean to say that forgetting was ok, your child would still be in danger. It's just a different senario when it's intentional.

Thank god someone was there to help! I couldn't imagine the feeling of not being able to save my child. I will be praying for that family and their recovery. THIS THREW ME OFF wasn't just some random person, this was his uncle! If I were one of the parents in the car, after everything calmed down, I think I would be mad about that...

My compassion is with all of the babies who died in hot/cold cars. I understand being run ragged, like on of the other posters said, she went with her routine that did not include having her baby with her. She didn't intentionally leave her baby in the car......it was an unfortunate incident, and thankfully the baby is OK. The mother in the news....I just don't understand how you can remember only 2 out of 3 of your children. Maybe if I was there and saw her reaction to FORGETTING her child in the car, i would feel a little different. But this sounds more like a matter of convenience.

Agreed! I don't think i saw any posts on here saying "we should burn her at the stake" as someone has on here has put it. But this is a CRIME that needs to be punished. She needs to understand why this is soooo dangerous! (and it is dangerous!)

It's wrong because it's against the law. it's child abuse/neglect...says the law. Just like robbing banks, or stealing cars is wrong....putting your child in danger is wrong. Somethings are beyond giving the benefit of doubt...weather she ment to run just outside or thought that the child would be ok in the car by his/her self.......she still neglected her child, no matter what her thought process was at the time. I wasn't implying the child is 100% safe from everything in a stroller, BUT how likely is it for a baby to sufficate in a stroller as apposed to a car with windows up? not likely. ho

me too but no one is posting! PSprings, Yorkville, and New Georgia are all about the same distance from my house. and douglasville is 45 min. I just can't find anything in paulding for 3/4 year olds! I've been calling Cobb parks and rec to ask ?'s but i keep getting voice mail.
