Lgm had her adnoids out when they were in a middle of a sinus wash on her and the tornado hit the hospital at cobb. Doc was waiting for a battery pack for his wash tool and sent them out with a flashlight and papers to sign to go ahead and get her adnoids while he waited. My mother bout had a stroke but i just laughed and asked if he needed me to hold the flashlight for him too so he would be able to see? no chicks...not babies...just eight hens and the one large male. They cant...well dont cause we clip their wings too, get out of the pen and go in the coop at night to roost and we lock them down due to possums.

the neighbor behind me said she is trying to get used to it but i figured she would eventually ask me to be rid of him since she did the last time someone gave me their easter chicks to raise and a rooster was in the mix. She is a nice neighbor so i keep peace for both of us the best i can. He just started recently and got old enough to actually crow. He DOES a little during the day kinda like when a neighbors dog barks when you are in YOUR OWN YARD for a bit.

I actually didnt WANT a rooster but i got four pullets last fall and one turned out to be male...sigh. I thought hed stop crowing so early when the time changed but nope and my neighbors like to sleep in on the weekends. I dont like my peace and quiet disturbed so try not to disturb theirs either. Hes actually kinda skiddish and runs away instead of strutting and flogging but he is a big red rooster with some green feathers round his neck. now see there....that is a beautiful creature!!!! i love them....give the little ones to the chickens and they have the poor things ripped to shreds in a matter of seconds. I actually dont have very many because of all the cats and dogs and such round here, but i am not scared of them as long as they dont surprise me out of nowhere, like in a clump of dirt i just shoveled up. Hubby on the other hand completely freaks out at the very sight of ANYTHING that LOOKS like it might be a snake!! ME TOO!!!! Best kind of tired in my opinion. The grandkids wear me out too but thats a whole different kind of tired. I worked out in the yard and got the majority of my garden in the ground FINALLY!!! Its was just beautiful plus i got some sun on my body as well!!! (actually i forgot the spray sunscreen for my head so scalp is a little bit burned with the new dreads...ooops...ha)

if he was wearing a bright lime green shirt it was my neighbor. I doubt he would do it that early cause hes generally very professional about these things but hes a landscaper and kindly in need of work these days...business has really gone to the pits for him.

i dont feel actually threatened...just didnt know if i had a right to complain about it or not...pretty sure they are just firing into the woods or target practice type thing with new "toys" but only thing that makes this dog go nuts and freak out is gunfire. He dont like it one bit....every once in a while is fine but this has become a habit and usually involves being under the influence as well. I cant let my dog go out cause not sure they are being safe..ya know?

yup..we did the same thing...the bathtub and the washer both go out to an orange barrell in the ground with gravel and slowly drain out into the yard if we dont end up using to water the garden or flower garden or whatever..got a little sump pump just for that purpose. Had no choice cause five grand seemed a bit steep for new field lines to us...lol. (i DO UNDERSTAND my house is 33 years old and the field lines have crushed and had tree roots grow into them and such, but we just never have that kind of money to "spare" anymore)

i paid 850 for mine at the dentist (not to mention the over 2 grand to have the old ones yanked which i had to make payments on) Wishing i had gone to Affordable dentures now. These have never fit properly and had them over two years. Had soft liners put in cause i had lost a bunch of weight and they just plain fell out but now that the weight is back and the liner is all but disintegrated...still dont fit. Just makes me mad.
